Had an overnight delivery to the Wal Mart Distribution Center, unprepared I didn’t have anything to eat. I called Dominoes.. Doesn’t deliver in the area! Called Both Pizza Huts… Both Don’t deliver in the area. Frustrated and hungry I called Ms Michelle at DeFelice Bros…she calmly and politely explained the menu, reassured me that they DO deliver in the area and that the driver would call me upon arrival. BEST pizza I’ve had in a looooong time. Hot, fresh and quality...
Person taking the order on the phone couldn't hear me do to a faulty line in the store,they had to switch phones, even after being hung up on, and calling back..I consider the pizza was a great value!! The three people in the store were less than personable.. they didn't make you feel appreciated after waiting 35 min after the time they quoted you over the phone that your order would be ready. Overall a great product, at a great price, but will be sure to be cautious...
As a kid, I always thought DeFelice Brothers pizza was the best I’d ever had.. moved from Shadyside when I was 12 years old.. and have been over 3 hours away since. I have a lot of fond memories of open lunch in Elementary school, and walking down a few times a week for a slice.
Stopped in the Shadyside location, for the first time in 35 years last weekend, and I’m glad to say it still tastes as amazing as I remember!!!
