While my truck was broken down and I was waiting on a tow, I stopped in to grab some food. I didn’t realize they only accepted cash or checks, and I only had a card. Without hesitation, they gave me a pepperoni roll on the house.
Moments like that remind you that real community still exists. Acts of kindness like this feel rare these days, but they showed genuine generosity and compassion when it mattered. I truly appreciate them and will absolutely support this business whenever I can. This is the kind of place that deserves recognition.

My wife and I stopped here on our way to her dad's. My wife grew up around the area and George's has always been her favorite. When we got there it was earlier than when they open, we were gonna sit in truck and wait a bit, but before we could head back they opened their door for us. They are the nicest folks you'll ever meet. They got good tasting pizza and my wife loved the ice cream. If you're ever in Woodsfield, stop by and get some good food. I know next time I stop I'm gonna order some of their pepperoni rolls.

Yes I agree George's is the best pizza around and has been a staple for pizza in the area but the newer hours? It's been multiple times now I've been back in woodsfield on Sunday and can't get it. That's sad.
