⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review I hope the folks in this area truly appreciate what a gem this family restaurant is. It’s rare these days to find a place where the food is still made from homemade recipes — not prepackaged, not rushed, but prepared with real care and pride. You can taste the difference in every bite. The atmosphere feels warm and genuine, like stepping into a place where community still matters. The service is kind, the portions are generous, and everything tastes like it came straight from someone’s kitchen, not a factory. If you value fresh, homemade food and the heart behind it, this is the kind of restaurant you want to support. Places like this don’t just serve meals — they preserve tradition. Highly recommended.
I was very unhappy with breakfast yesterday. the coffee was stale , 3 creamers didn't even change the color. my eggs had that brown edge around it. grill up to high. the home fries had been sitting on grill and were old and the onions I asked for weren't even cooked all the way. still raw. the corn beef hash was just warmed up. actually mine was cold in the middle. the biscuits and gravy was the one thing that was good. but for a $45 bill for two. I wouldn't expect such downfalls. the server was friendly and fast. won't be back.
Had breakfast. Biscuits and gravy with eggs. My husband had French toast with bacon and eggs. The eggs were rubbery. The bacon tasted like old grease. The biscuits and toast were fine. Gut filler. Will not return.

The atmosphere was clean. Server was super nice just a little slow on seating us. The food was okay. Don't get the shrimp it is just frozen popcorn shrimp. Not worth the $13.99 price. Also, DO NOT ORDER A SODA it was $2.25 for a 12oz can of pop! What a joke doesn't even say it is cans on the menu! Way over priced for the little amount of food. I would not recommend this place for anyone. Locals go there all the time.

This restaurant was the perfect place to stop. The food was amazing and so was the staff. That steak burger was top-notch. Will definitely return.

i had a great experience going to this place service is wonderful the people are very positive and kind
the food oh the food. i honestly have a bad taste about getting fries anywhere because they never come out how i like them but when i opened my meal the fries were perfectly fried crispy out side soft but not mushy inside they let you salt them yourself and it was perfectly fried crispy the burger is delicious i’m not sure where they get their meat but it was perfectly cooked and it’s a half lb and build it your way and comes on something similar to tx toast
if you are a driver coming up and down 20 you can call ahead and there is a shoulder wide enough in town to pull of and your food will be ready when you arrive and can grab and go. i will be back thank you so much

Only put 5 stars so this would be seen !!! took us 10 minutes to get our drinks. We all asked for water, got half full cups with luke warm water- not a single piece of ice to be seen. Everyone stared at us like we were from out of town, which we are but the energy in the room was as if we shouldn’t be there. That’s fine too, we eventually had our order taken after 40 minutes of waiting, we watching three other tables full of people come in, order their food, and get their food AND eat most of it all while still waiting to get our food. At this point we’ve been siting with Luke warm half full cups of water and napkins for an hour. So many health code violations, watched the single bottle of syrup make its way around the restaurant and one woman took her finger to it and licked it. Then it went to the next table. the place was disgusting- the ceiling was moldy? Half the menu was out of stock. DO NOT STOP HERE FOR FOOD
I was clear , ordered an omelet with cheese and sausage, and got an omelet with ham and cheese then when I called to complain one man answered the phone and couldn't comprehend so he handed the phone off i had to eat what I didn't order that's life

Great place to eat..love this place
Nice little pop shop to eat beats the hell out of the other side of town.
Amazing food, service is the sweetest
What a delightful surprise! I attended a Geocaching event that was held here. Typically food at little mom and pop restaurants is okay. I expected this to be the same. I ordered the mini fish dinner. The fish turned out to be walleye and was absolutely fantastic! Literally melted in my mouth. The applesauce tasted homemade rather than "out of the can". Cole slaw was a bit thin, but had good flavor. In observing other meals that were served (some got breakfast, some got lunch) they all looked excellent... crispy potatoes, omelettes full of "stuffing", etc. And everyone commented on how good their food was. The only disappointment is that this restaurant is nearly two hours from home. If I ever get anywhere close to this restaurant again, I absolutely will be back for another meal. It's a very small restaurant with a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. If you're looking for really good food, this is the place to get it!
Friendly service ,tasty fresh food
