A dear friend David told us about this place and now it’s a special place for my son 10, and I to come for lunch or dinner when we come to tournaments at Aspen.

This is first class place. Great food with everyone, except my ex-wife, having an extraordinarily good time. We had a wedding rehearsal dinner for my grandson with about 20 people. No one wanted for anything that wasn’t made available.

We visited this week with a group of 10 people. We are from out of town. Service was good for a 10 top. The menu is upscale.... Not a burger to be found.. Some pricey salads and fancy pizza. Lot's of sour dough bread. Wanted the Chicken Marsala.....WHOA.... It was so peppery, I tried to eat it ... There was nothing else that I wanted. Ate most of the chicken and lots of coke a cola. Ordered a $10 tiramisu as reward for hardly eating my entree. Ate half there and took half home. As we left the restaurant was packed and there was wait. Must be really good..... We must of just had bad luck. By the way, the tiramisu was a large portion and very DELICIOUS!

Must stop when in Wooster. Love the ambience - exposed brick, nice artwork, very high ceilings, dining room open to bakery/kitchen.

Nikki was our waitress and she was excellent. Knowledgeable about menu, answered questions easily, made suggestions after asking our taste. Checked back without hovering.

Started meal with roasted garlic tomato soup - it was delicious. I was having difficulty deciding between shrimp & artichoke pasta and Cajun shrimp pasta. Waitress suggested shrimp/artichoke with the Cajun sauce. So glad I listened to her guidance, pasta was excellent. Paired perfectly with a Pinot Noir. Hubs had the wild mushroom pasta, added blackened chicken. Said it was wonderful!

Again at Nikki’s recommendation, I had the dessert special - white velvet cake. Very decadent!

Menu is great but food was mediocre. Chicken was tough on salad plus the beets were small and spartan. Meat in pork sandwich was stringy and tough. The atmosphere, service, and aesthetic are excellent but the kitchen needs to improve.

Everything was really good except the time of food prep. We were one of maybe 4 tables in the whole restaurant and it took nearly 30 min after we put in our order to get an omelette and an egg sandwich. I love this place, but I hope they make some adjustments to that part of the process.
