It's like a permanent fresh produce stand that you'd see on the side of the road before covid. Everything is locally sourced, so if you're all about fresh food I highly recommend.

Stopped in this morning, looking for a unique Christmas ornament. Found another item I’d like to have for myself, so picked that up, wandered around a little… two employees walked right past me, too busy apparently to even say “Good morning” nor “can I help you find anything?” Decided you must not need my business, so I put the one item I was going to buy back on the shelf… apologies to the maker of the bath soap saver… and left.

Wow!? Absolutely ❤️❤️❤️love this spot! This local shopping experience is second to none. I would like to move to this charming town just to be a regular here! The local foods, honey, and arts available here are incredible! Their in-house coffee shop- Boo Bear’s Brew- with its own rear entrance or accessible through market was a fun spot to take in reggae sounds and sit sipping coffees crafted with their own syrups made of real ingredients. My apple spice latte was amazing. I also visited their breakfast counter and had the best-ever breakfast bagel with eggs, cheese and locally sourced sausage- cooked to perfection so the cheese and flavors were melded and melted together wonderfully. Highly recommend a road trip to this town for a stroll, latte, meal and shopping spree. The lovely, friendly people who work here made it a wonderful experience for me.

This store has so much to offer. Unique crafts made by local artists, fresh produce, teas and breads and much more. They even have gluten free breads and cupcakes. Looking forward to going back.

This place was great. Some things are expensive but they have some exotic items and the rye flour was very cheap.

This is a wonderful small store with great fresh foods that are also locally sourced much from farmers, staff is friendly, and prices are decent. Will return when I am in the area again.

Hold on to your grocery bags, because Local Roots Market & Café isn't just a place to shop and eat; it's a whole experience that will change the way you think about local produce! Nestled in the heart of the community, this market and café combo brings the farm right to your table with a twist of creativity and a dollop of homegrown charm.

As soon as you step into Local Roots Market & Café, you're enveloped by the vibrant colors and earthy smells of fresh fruits and vegetables, all sourced from local farmers. It's like a carnival for your senses, where every turn introduces you to new, fresh produce or artisan products made right in the neighborhood.

But that's not all – the café part of Local Roots is a hidden gem that serves dishes made from the ingredients sold in the market. Imagine biting into a sandwich where the veggies still taste like the morning dew and the bread seems to have captured the warmth of the sun.

Here’s a tip: don’t miss their weekend brunch. It’s when the chefs really go wild with the local bounty, crafting dishes that'll make you wish every meal was brunch.

So, if you’re looking for a place where your grocery shopping trip turns into a treasure hunt and your lunch feels like a farm visit, Local Roots Market & Café is your go-to spot. Just be warned, you might start chatting with the kale or high-fiving the baker – it’s that kind of place!
