Delicious food and drink served by friendly people in what is literally an old jail. As far as I'm aware, they won't keep you prisoner if you do something dumb, but you should probably be prepared and behave.

The food is very true to what your ordering which is bad because if you get something you might not like you will probably hate it but good because if you get something you like your gonna love it. staff is on top of things and its very fair pricing for some very good food.

In town for a race and the hotel recommended coming here for dinner. It was a fantastic recommendation! The building and the history are amazing, but the people, the service and the food made it all the better. The hostess was wonderful, our waitress did a great job, and the Chef even came out to say hello. Will 100% be coming back when in town again.

I have wanted to I try this place for awhile now and we finally had the chance. It was a nice place and the food was good. I ordered the Beer Battered Mushrooms for an appetizer and they were really good. My wife ordered The Big House Club it was good and the portion was abundant, the house made chips were great. I ordered the Maple Burger and as much as I wanted to love this Burger it was mediocre you really didn't get any Maple flavor or seasoning in general the burger was definitely a frozen patty, I prefer fresh, so the burger was definitely overcooked and on the dry side. I had the fresh cut fries and they were fantastic. Overall it's a good place and I look forward to returning and trying their Steakhouse.

Olde Jaol Tavern serves a good burger. They have a bunch of unique options, but we chose one cajun and one maple burger. Both were very flavorful, but overcooked. The mozzarella sticks that we ordered were perfect, though. The tavern smelled like cigarette smoke and our service was a bit on the slow side. However, the price and flavor of the food will have us coming back for more.

A nice place to eat. A bit pricey but the food was delicious. We were alone in the area we were seated. It used to be a jailhouse.

If you have navigating stairs, like me, you will probably want to avoid here. The restaurant is in the basement of the building and it doesn't appear to be handicap accessible.

The peanut butter pie is very rich but delicious. Be prepared to either share it or take it home.

Server was nice, brought my wife's meal out , explained that my chicken sandwich got lost !? Served her food with no napkins or silverware. Stated that my sandwich would be right out . 25 min later we called the front desk the lady who came out was sincerely sorry. I just hope the do better for returning customers as I will not be one of them .

I don’t know where to begin…
We had a horrible experience and walked out. I called and talked to the manager. She said to make a reservation with her and come back and she would make it up to us by giving us a free dinner. So we did… and when we arrived our waitress told us we would get a free appetizer. We shared what was told to us and she left and came back and said they would discount our dinner. We drove almost an hour to eat a restaurant we wouldn’t have ever come back to. Never again. Bad service is one thing. Lying for no reason is a whole other level. We are now eating at The Leaf instead.

Really love the decor. My sister and I were on a mini vacation and this came recommended. The food was good portions big neither one of us finished our plates. Wait staff was very quick to get us seated with menus and take our order.

I appreciate the convenience. Adding some vegetable options would be great. Solid lunch option.
