We ate at the tavern. The food was awesome here! Portions are good. I couldn't finish my fish n chips, but we also had the fried pickles for an appetizer(which were delicious)! There were still plenty of tables open when we arrived, but our server just sucked. The tables with servers around us seemed to be getting great service.

What a great experience! My husband and I had dinner here with my brother and SIL. We loved everything from ceasar salads to dessert. I had the parmesan crusted chicken, my husband had the pork tenderloin. Delicious! Our server was great. Very kind and pleasant. A bit pricey but worth it!

Good local find in Wooster...honestly our experience was ok...asked for the best sellers which were The Maple Burger ( hamburger with egg) and The Executioner ( Chicken sandwich). My gf asked for the egg to sunny side up (runny) and a side of mayo, egg came out fried and no mayo. My sandwich was very greasy perhaps from cheese or bacon. Our waitress suggested sides at extra cost as they put chips on your platter but it's not enough. My gf got a handful as I got 1 and a few crumbles. Hans cut fries were our choice. I did try a bowl of their chili and it was very good. At this visit, there were a handful of visitors yet service was slow. Overall food was good. When in town again, I will try their other options as it's a restaurant, tavern and brewery at same location.

Just got back from OJST in Wooster, for today's Total Eclipse. Just a wonderful time for a wonderous celestial event. We had the soup and sandwich lunch, featuring the Eclipse Burger. It was lights out. The French Onion Soup was good, too. Eleah was a gracious server, who did a fabulous job. Our fellow eclipsers on the outdoor space were into the moment, including the guys from New Philly and their Border Collie. The rest of the staff was on the beam, especially when they let us know that the gravitational alignment of sun and moon somehow started our rental car out in the parking lot. No kidding. It was Lunacy. So glad we chose to travel all the way to Wooster and to the OJST for an out of this world day,

Pretty expensive for the overall food quality. It was good, but not $125 good. Neat atmosphere and good service, but just a little overpriced.

Steak was delicious, we sat right by the bar and it was a little odd. Service was good, prices might take a small chuck out of your wallet.

We went to the Tavern and had a great experience. Food was delicious and our server, Christal, really went above and beyond. There was a small mixup with one of our orders, but she went to the next level to fix things. We'll definitely be back and will ask for her!

The only reason we came here was because City Square didn’t have any reservations available. This place didn’t have our reservation when we arrived but “fit us in” by putting us in the busiest location inside the door. We had water spilled all over our table by a server, and the same server dropped food and sauce from another table next to our table and it splattered all over the floor and our chairs. When we finally got our food 45 minutes after ordering, the steaks were charbroiled on the outside when ordered medium. One of us decided to just eat the steak and they brought prime rib as replacement for another person in our party because it was quicker to remake. The server charged us full price for everything and added extra charges for a side salad substitution. The service was average. This was not a pleasant experience and we won’t be back. Save your time and go to City Square, Broken Rocks or somewhere else in Wooster.
