I’ve never visited here but my last trip to the wine store here in Wayne County I was looking for a wine that I would love but also one that was more local and too my surprise i ended up going home with a bottle of troutman rosé and red blend and when I tell you it was the best most sweetest wine I’ve ever had I’m not joking great job!

I have no idea why anyone would give this place anything above 1 star. I have gone to wine tastings around the world and they have three things in common. 1. They poor a small taste in a glass of each their varieties they want you to taste, you swirl, smell, taste. 2. In between you typically cleanse your palate in a variety of ways. 3. If you like the wine, you buy some. Here… not at all! you buy the taste flight or a glass. The taste flight comes in plastic “Dixie”cups. We tried the reds which are supposed to be sweeter. They were literally grape juice. No wonder they don’t let you taste. We asked for a cheese and pretzel tray to go with it, expecting the typical curated cheeses with some pretzels to eat with. They pointed us to the bags of pretzels to pick from and handed us a pre-made pack of cheese from the grocery store. They did make me a great vodka raspberry slush. Avoid if you actually like wine.

Showed as Open, closing at 6.
Drove 20 miles out of the way. It was closed for another month.

Thank you google.

Fantastic spot for planning a special event / gathering with family and friends. Do not miss Troutman Vineyards Blackberry Wine! Very distinctively deliciously blackberry as it is made exclusively from blackberry juice unlike many other versions elsewhere where they are only flavoring grape wine with blackberry. Reserve the tasting room for a special event to enjoy the wines. We were able to have the meal catered and delivered there for the group. Wonderful service and lovely setting. We enjoyed the tasting room fireplace and setting for our November evening gathering.

This is a smaller winery, but they do have good wines, and the atmosphere is great. Both indoor and outdoor seating. The property is located on Wayne County farmland and is a very cozy place. They do not serve food, but there was a food truck outside during our visit. They have some dry wines. I had the pinot noir, and it was very good. They also have a dry cabernet. I prefer dry, but there are a lot of sweeter wines available as well. The counter people are very friendly.

Every chance I get when visiting, I stop here. Wonderful atmosphere. There are plenty of selections depending on your preference. The staff are always friendly and helpful. If you like a red wine, I recommend Farmer's Red.

This is a great little place with a good variety of wines for tasting. I enjoyed a few dry reds, and there were some nice sweet wines for my husband. The space was nice with a little fireplace and a selection of games to entertain us. The woman who waited on us was extremely nice and provided us with a couple of recommendations for dinner in the area. I hope to go back again when I'm in the area.

Small winery built on an old chicken farm. Great place to hang out and enjoy a bottle of wine with friends.

We all had a really good time at this winery. This was our first time here, even though my husband and I have lived in Wooster our entire lives! We attended the July Yappy Hour event with our toy terrier puppy, our two middle school boys, my mom and her husband, and my husband's friend and his French Bulldogs.

My mom, her husband, and I all had a couple glasses of wine. The rest of the people in the party had soda or water. We adored the Traminette wine. It was absolutely delicious!

The outside enjoyment area is a good distance away from the road and behind the Tasting Room, so you don't see or hear traffic during your evening. It feels very serene and secluded. We didn't spend a lot of time inside, but we did pop into the Tasting Room to get our drinks and use the restrooms. The Tasting Room was nicely decorated and clean. The restrooms are updated, clean, and private, which I appreciate.

The winery staff and the PAWS volunteers were all super nice. They even let my boys take home all the balloons at the end of the event, which my kids were thrilled about (Lol! I guess you're never too old to enjoy balloons!).

We enjoyed the live music during the event, although admittingly we didn't listen too intently to the music because we were all chatting so much and having a good time. We loved seeing and visiting with the other patrons' dogs.

We will definitely visit Troutman Vineyards again! And maybe we'll grab a couple extra bottles of the Traminette on our way out!

Not many places open on a Sunday in Wooster but this lovely winery was. Fireplace was roaring at our backs while we sipped a nice red.
