I have always taken my children to the Dining Hall at the AFB I was stationed at. As a Supervisor, I usually worked the next day so I wanted to spend the day with them. I cooked our family Thanksgiving dinner on the weekend.The food at Pitsenbarger is very good. This year I took my Daught, Granddaughter & 2 Great-Grandchildren. We didn't go until around 2pm (1400) so the lunch rush was over. There was still plenty at the salad bar. There was a wide variety of side items...
For Boy Scout troops that we staying on base, this is a great value for the troop. Food is very reasonably priced, and tastes good. Everyone ate a lot, was full, and the bill was quite reasonable. If you are a Scout Troop on a cannot here, put the dining hall into your plans!
Surprisingly good. It doesn’t look good because the building is in need of updating but the food and staff are great. Definitely worth the stop. And of course you can’t beat the price.
