Terrible service lazy unprofessional staff don’t even deserve to be in business what would they do if they had a busy night can’t even keep up with 3 tables they just get lazier and sit at the table on their cell-phones take one look at them don’t even want to eat your meal never be back. Disgusted.

Ordered food online at 11:30 for pick up at 12. Clicked "I'm here" when I arrived and parked in the to go space at 12, called at 12:05 to verify and was told it was on its way. Called again at 12:20 because no food had been brought out. Had to cancel, thanks for wasting my lunch break.

Don’t eat here. Way too short staffed and the food is just ok. We went for Sunday lunch and were there over 2 hrs! Would not recommend nor will I go back. Heard staff yelling from the kitchen that people can leave if they don’t like the wait.

2 friends and I visited the Xenia, OH Applebees March 9th, 2025. We go out to different places often, and rarely do we complain. We collectively agreed this was most likely the worst Service we've ever received at a restaurant. The Restaurant itself was very filthy, Bus Boys were wiping off tables after wiping chairs and throwing all the crumbs on the floor in a pile and left it. We looked at it while we were eating. We ordered our food and wanted the $2 Sunday drink special and my other friend ordered a diet pepsi. The waitress came back with a regular pepsi for our diabetic friend, and said they weren't selling the Sunday drink special. We asked about the $3 drink specials and an old fashioned and were told they didn't have the ingredients to make an old fashioned. We were getting frustrated and ordered $3 margaritas. We ordered an appetizer and wanted it before our meals . It took 45 min to get our drinks. We asked for 2 waters 3x while waiting for our Margaritas and never received them. There were 3 other tables in our section and they were all dealing with issues of their own in regards to their order. Our food came about 15 minutes before our appetizer came and no drinks until about 15 minutes after our appetizer. All 3 of us had things wrong with our order but stayed silent. We ate and were done, waiting on our check. The lady behind us had an issue as well as the table beside us. The waitress blamed the kitchen for everything. We finally got our bill and saw we were charged $5.75 for our $3 drink specials. The waitress took the bill to her manager and said he was giving us a discount on our drinks that we were over charged for. He took $3 off of 1 drink. We asked to see the manager and explain why we were frustrated. He didn't address it, just said he had our check. We've always loved Applebees but have never at any restaurant experienced such terrible service. It will make me rethink next time and choose a different chain.

We walked in and the first server said she didn't wanna serve us because my friend was autistic in a wheelchair, and then the next server she put her foot infront of my friend wheelchair and then my friend fell out of her wheelchair. My friend then went to the bathroom and the stalls did not lock and she got walked in on, i then went to complain to a waitress and she looked at us with a dirty look and said "yeah the bathrooms don't lock and we can't do nothing about it." so RUDE.

Great server. Overworked with to many tables however. Ordered food and thats where it went down hill. Burger bun was so hard I played drums on it with my fork but thought I would try it anyway. Whiskey Bacon Burger, had it before several times so I know whats its supposed to look like and taste like. There was no sauce, dressing, nothing on the burger, it was so dry on the 1st bite I couldnt finish chewing it. I asked the server to please take it off my sons bill that I could not eat it, they didnt even put the main ingredient, the Fireball Sauce that makes the sandwich. She said she would tell the manager and take it off. I never touched anything else on the plate. Then the server came back out and said the manager wanted the food back, well of course, I was'nt going to eat it as I told them. While we sat there another couple 2 booth's away sent their food back as well. NOT ONE TIME DID THE MANAGER COME OUT OF HIDING TO APOLOGIZE NOR TRY TO MAKE IT RIGHT. BAD MANAGER. For an almost $100 meal, (and 2 of those were kids meals) you would have thought that the manager could have made an appearance and made apologies and try to correct the situation. Wont be back you can bet on that.

Greeted, taken to table. Server showed up 5 minutes later, took my order. Food arrived, it was tasty. Server showed after I moved to end of tablecloth my credit card in my hand.. no one showed up to see if the food was good, or offered a refill.
Went in for lunch on Sunday seated promptly as they were not busy had a pleasant server I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries the burger was dripping with grease bottom bun soaked with grease fries were soggy not crispy I didn’t eat hardly any it was that bad , bob evans next store was packed with the after church crowd , now I know why Applebees was empty, no one wants to spend money on terrible food it’s really not that difficult to prepare a great hamburger and crispy hot fries needless to say I paid and left

I had lunch there on 12 26 2024. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich meal. It was so hard it almost cracked my teeth! I had a couple of bites .it was disgusting. I told the waitress. She just said ok. Thanks for coming. A waste of money.

The food and service were good. The server excellent for being on the floor and behind the bar by herself. The M.O.D was no where to be found. So server had no help and all tables were dirty. This was on Tuesday 12/10/24 at 2:30pm. The manager needs more training or to be replaced. The M.O.D should have been on the floor helping the server. Then return to back of house and help the cook. I know this because I was a manager for Applebee's in Texas for almost 2 years. I know what I'm talking about.

Called in to make a to go order got put on hold for so long. I finally just went to the store while still on hold, came in told the lady there I wanted a to go order she said I’ll find someone. Let me sit there for another five or 10 minutes so I finally just got up and left. Terrible service. Won’t be back there anytime soon. Xenia has the most horrible restaurants on earth.
