Aside from maybe seeming a little understaffed, our experience was amazing. Food is delicious and fresh. The chips and in-house salsa are amazing! But the staff, top notch! You can tell they really care. Super friendly and hard working. Would give 10 stars to our waiter if possible!Kid-friendliness: Amazingly kind and accommodate to my rambunctious toddler. Brought their food out first and quickly to help calm the storm. Highly appreciated.

A very cute and welcoming atmosphere, our waiter was wonderful and attentive. Our food had a lot of flavor, came out quick and everything tasted delicious. Possibly the best arroz con pollo I’ve ever had. Definitely will become regulars here!

The Waiter could not speak any English, so it was very hard to order. WE went for Margaritas, but they don't serve them on Sunday (why), it took forever to get our food, the order was wrong. We love the Don Patron in Beavercreek, but we won't be back to Xenia.

I wanted to like it. Nothing tasted fresh. Honestly it wasn’t good at all. After seeing the good reviews I was very disappointed.

Food was really good. Getting a meal and a margarita for 20 dollars is perfect. Good service as well!

Tortilla chips were warm with salsa as welcome appetizer. Portion size was good. Warm food. Freshly prepared. Must try place if you are in Xenia or in and around. Luckily it wasn't that busy when we visited .

I have not been to a Don Patron restaurant until the one in Xenia was built. I have been at this location and I really need to get my thoughts out there. Let’s get the good things out of the way first. The service is excellent, the waiters and waitresses ALWAYS make sure you are taken care of. The restaurant is always clean and never dirty. Honestly that’s all the good I can say about the store… so let’s get started with the bad. Don Patron is completing with 2 other Mexican restaurants in Xenia, Los Mariachis and Acapulco. What Don Patron does different is introduce new flavors to the Mexican food competition, but sadly, those flavors are not a good thing. To make this short, all of Don Patron’s burritos have a distinct flavor, And it’s not just one or two burrito entrees, I’m assuming it’s all over them since having tried 3 completely different burrito entrees. The flavor is not great, is makes each dish taste odd… it almost makes you lose your appetite. The chicken is super bland, dry and unseasoned. The steak tastes super old and tough. I’ve chewed through gum more successfully than the steak here, half the time I just spit it out or swallow because it’s like chewing rubber. The rice is ok… the texture and flavor is like going to Walmart and grabbing a microwave bag of Spanish rice. The chips and salsa are the best thing here. I’ve had one desert dish here (the churros) and realized going to victors taco shop down the road has better churros for the price they ask for. The prices here are really high, much higher than the competition. I love new businesses coming to Xenia, I’m so glad we go Don Patron and Buffalo Wild Wings, and I want so badly for Don Patron to succeed, but from my experience with the food, and for. The experience of many others I personally know who have eaten here, changes need to be made. If you do eat here, please do not order the Burrito Patron… just trust me on that, it’s so oily and watery with a horribly flavor, just trust me on that.

This place is a great addition to Xenia! While there are multiple other Mexican restaurants in town, this one by far has the most variety and many unique dishes you don't find at the standard Mexican restaurant. Their elote street corn on the cob is perfection. Also the Honey Chicken and Camerones Quesadilla were both top notch! Staff is very friendly and attentive and after two visits this quickly becoming my favorite place for Mexican in Xenia!!
