I personally didn’t like their food all that much but that’s my only complaint. Service was great and fast and the parking and atmosphere were great. I got a taco salad and my husband got birria tacos. My taco salad was really wet and the shell was overdone and the tacos were okay kind of what you would expect from an Americanized Mexican restaurant. He’s lived in Mexico and has a certain expectation for certain foods and this just didn’t hit his expectations. I also didn’t like the salsa all that much. It was missing key flavors I like in my salsa personally.

The food at this place is gross. I don't recommend it. I ordered 2 meals to go, and both were nasty waist of money

My wife and I have been coming here for well over a decade! We've always been treated like family, with superb kindness! The best and most delicious food in Xenia! 😊 Gluten-free options available.

The place looks very nice now, but the food was bland. It had a beef taco and a chicken taco both had no flavor.

Definitely a good place to eat. If you don't like cilantro, let them know. Great food for the price.

Waitress was nice, food was very disappointing, the place i normally go is way better and better price. Not going back. Also one of the staff members kept wiping his nose with his hand.

Looks incredible after the remodel!
My son and I got to sit in a nice quiet area to enjoy ourselves and chat! The waiter, Edgar, was very quick, and even humored me by responding in Spanish when I asked a question in Spanish! It was fun treat :) My son and I had a wonderful lunch date and the atmosphere that was provided was just as wonderful.
We did regular beef tacos, and a Quessabirria meal! We also did queso! Everything was so yummy and the chips were super fresh!

Look, I don’t like to be mean or unreasonable, and I understand things happen, but I’ve never had an experience at Los Mariachis like this, in all my years of coming there. I don’t want to be a jerk about a small business reinventing themselves and trying a new look, but something went very sideways with the Xenia location following the renovations.
This place used to be great and was a place my wife and I went all the time. It had so much character and a fantastic menu. But last night, the first time we returned since you reopened, our experience was a major let-down. The chicken enchilada my wife ordered had no seasoning, the beef on my nacho plate was a sopping mess of grease, half of my meal was lettuce, and it took nearly an hour to get our food. The tables around us filled up after we’d ordered, and they all received their food promptly, 20-30 minutes before us. At one point, they brought out food that looked very similar to what we’d ordered, began setting it on our table, then as they were bringing the last of it out, they realized it was meant for the table next to us. The couple at that table finished eating before ours even arrived. I could’ve handled the wait, honestly, if I’d been made to feel like anything was being done to prioritize us after the mistake and delay, but people kept filtering through while we just sat there and waited longer.
Our waiter returned to the table repeatedly to assure us our food was coming any moment, but that happened no less than 5 times over half an hour, and our food was nowhere to be seen. It took, at minimum, 45 minutes from the time we placed our order for one plate of nachos supreme, one chicken enchilada and one beef taco. I’m convinced he forgot to put in our order and then rushed it to compensate, forgetting to flavor almost all of it in the process.
The only redeemable quality of our visit was the homemade hot sauce we received, but even with that, my wife wound up leaving behind the remainder of her food, as it was too bland to make worth boxing up and taking it with us.
Finally, and I admit this is just a me thing, it doesn’t make me want to visit your establishment when I see a poorly made, blatant AI canvas wall hanging as a centerpiece in your restaurant when it’s so easy to have a local artist create you something original and unique. It doesn’t send a good message, it’s off-putting to an artist such as myself, and it only tells me that instead of supporting other small businesses and creators who would love to work with other locals, you would rather cut corners and save time, which I guess shouldn’t shock me after the rest of my visit.
I’m sorry, but this was a bad experience all around.
