The food was awful 😖 it looked as if it was cooked the day before and just heated up, and it was full of pepper. I almost couldn't eat it. The fries were just sitting under the light, for I don't know how long. I was so disappointed in this place, I worked here many years years ago when I went to the high school. I grew up in this town and see this place being built and working my butt off to seeing just fall apart because young people don't care to but there best foot forward, just don't want to work. 8/4/2025
Went back there to see if there was any changes, and there was. The food was better however the bathroom had NO toilet paper, pee all over the toilet and the sink was not working at all! That the worst part, there was no sanitizer, so there was NO way to wash hands 🤬🤬. I'm done with this place!

I just don't care about McDonald's anymore. This is a good restaurant. They're fast, usually friendly. If you like McDonald's, absolutely enjoy. Not putting them down. I just only go now if I need a quick bite.

I got the chicken wrap. I was surprised at how good it was. The fries where hot and crisp. Also the Coke Zero, my main reason for the stop, was the icing on the cake.

I go to McDonald's rather often and use the app consistently. Over time I've stacked up quite a few points and usually get something with them when I order. This specific McDonald's in particular seems to conveniently have 'an issue' accepting the app's codes time and again. Today was my third attempt over the last two weeks to use it there and yet again I was told 'that code doesn't work' with absolutely no offer to help figure out why and given the generic 'try again later' nonsense when I'm in the drive thru.

How strange that that exact same code worked 10 minutes later at the store off Main Street.

I genuinely believe this is a tactic being used by this location to avoid redeeming points to save money on their end. I don't have demonstrable proof of that, but it seems really suspicious that only this location has had consistent issues with the app while every other franchise uses it just fine 99% of the time. I get it that it's just free fries, or a free nugget set or whatever, but I take offense when they lie to my face and tell me that 'yeah we accept app codes' while also never actually following through with them.

To boot, half the time the food from this particular store just isn't that great. Like, I get it, it's McDonald's, but it'd be nice if the food was cooked properly and didn't taste like it was sitting out for 20 minutes.

I'd only bother coming here if you're desperate for a Big Mac and don't have the app, otherwise, save yourself the headache and go to the other McDonalds in town or just eat somewhere else. This place really needs to work on their customer service.

I recently visited the Detroit st McDonald's on Wednesday night and was disappointed by my experience. I ordered a $5 McChicken Meal Deal and was shocked to find that my small fries were barely a quarter full. While the employee at the window was kind enough to replace them, it's frustrating to receive such a small portion. ( No it didn’t spill over into the bag.. it was literally barely any fries ) It seems like a lack of care or attention to detail. This is especially disappointing since this location is usually my favorite compared to the one on Main Street. I hope McDonald's can improve their quality control and ensure that customers receive the full portion they pay for.
