Her terrific stuff about this restaurant now I realize it’s my hype, but reality. It’s good to see a restaurant sticking to the fundamentals, good food, quick service, hot food, and cold drinks

Great lunch today! This place has the best fresh food and awesome staff! We were given the recommendation by a friend at Williams Vintage Motorcycles… (J)! He knows great food and we have loved our visits to Nicks! The burgers are awesome! We have enjoyed quesadillas, tacos and the best taco salad ever! Our waitress today was beautiful and kind. Wish I knew her name… she has gorgeous red hair! And …Happy 21st birthday to the cutie at the host stand!

I have always bragged on how delicious Nicks food is but after my husband and I stopped in for lunch will never brag again. I ordered a Gyro sandwich which the Pita bread was so dry that it fell into pieces and the meat was over cooked. I sent it back and ordered Nicks mini burgers, Big Mistake! The patties were raw inside and the buns were cold and also very dry and hard. They must have hired a new cook or the business is just going down hill. Will Never Return!

We were visiting from out of town and found Nick's on Google maps. We were glad we did. It was busy but our group of 6 was seated right away. Started with wings. They were excellent. Two of us jad burgers that were well prepared, the others had steak with excellent sides. All around great experience . If we lived here we would be regulars.

Great bar vibes and great wings! Sweet Hot Damn is an elite flavor, arguably one of the best I’ve ever had. Love this place.

Nick’s Restaurant is a rustic local spot with the easy confidence of a place that knows its community well. The menu spans a wide range of familiar fare, inviting diners to settle in rather than chase novelty. A newer outdoor dining area adds to that appeal, offering comfortable seating, manageable noise levels, and a setting well-suited for lingering conversation.

The food delivers more than expected. Classic dishes arrive with thoughtful, often house-made touches that lift them above the ordinary. My Reuben was particularly memorable—generous, well-balanced, and mouthwateringly good, with flavors that worked in harmony rather than competing for attention. The fries were equally satisfying, crisp and well-seasoned, a reliable companion to the sandwich.

Nick’s is known for its “famous chips,” though I chose not to test that claim. Perhaps they are exceptional, but what I saw did little to convince me to pass over fries that so clearly delivered. Even so, the strength of what did reach the table made the case on its own.

What stands out most is the sense of care. This is comfort food, yes, but comfort food executed with intention—recipes treated as something to be respected, not merely repeated. It feels personal, the kind of place where regulars are remembered and newcomers are welcomed easily into the fold.

Nick’s may not aim for reinvention, but it does not need to. It succeeds by doing familiar things well, in a setting that encourages you to stay awhile.

My rating: ★★★★☆
1 star — I will never return.
2 stars — If nearby, I might return, but without urgency.
3 stars — Worth a visit if in the area, though not a destination in itself.
4 stars — Worth going out of your way to enjoy.
5 stars — I would fly around the world for this meal.

This was the best lunch I’ve had in a little while. Unfortunately, as I’m sitting here at home I realized I forgot to tip… I’m absolutely confused how this happened and I’ll be returning on Tuesday to make this right. I sat at the bar - ugh, I’m embarrassed.

Food was not as good as it has been in the past. Wings could have been cooked a little longer. This place is always busy, so I can understand. I will be back and hope this was a one time thing.

The food isn't anything special (typical bar/pub type food) but the general seating and outdoor option make it better than fast food.
