Wanted to walk out as we went during a non busy time of day. Was told 10 minute wait. No big deal. After 30 minutes, I asked if there were any updates and was told “we only have 3 people working!” Should’ve walked out then but my mother seems to love the place. I passed only giving any money to the place so I can’t speak in their food.

Great food and atmosphere! First time here. Sat on the porch for a late lunch / brunch with some friends from Columbus that met us here, and it was a very nice un-rushed experience. Would definitely return!

Ellie’s in Yellow Springs was amazing! Our server, Jennifer, was incredibly accommodating, and the food was absolutely divine—every bite was a treat. Highly recommend for a memorable dining experience.

Food: breakfast skillet, chicken and waffle with normal maple syrup, and shrimp and grits. Get the shrimp and grits!

This may be how restaurants once looked and felt like in the old days over a century ago when Yellow Springs used to be a major tourist destination for people from Dayton, Cincinnati and Columbus. Located near the lobby of the largest hotel in the village, Ellie's Restaurant offers wonderful breakfast and lunch menus. We stopped by for lunch and also for breakfast the next day. Both visits were fun. The service is remarkable.

No idea why anyone would rate this less than five stars, if they're food and experience were anything like ours. Delicious food, and plenty of it. I've never had sausage gravy with so much sausage in it, and the cheesy grits were a step above. Hostess/ (manager?) was incredibly friendly. Lucky for us, this place is close enough that we can visit often. Artisan food at reasonable prices.

Stopped in for brunch, I enjoyed the skillet, the biscuits were delicious. Well portioned, not overfilling. He enjoyed the farmer's breakfast, everything was great. Our server was awesome!

We spent all three mornings at Ellie's when we stayed at Mill Park Hotel. The breakfast/brunch room is very welcoming and the servers are excellent.
The food is great and try the pancakes! They are the best we've ever eaten! The omelets are great also! You won't be disappointed if you enjoy GOOD food !

Avocado in salad were rotten dressing spoiled and soup so salty. Only thing good was wine and service. Felt like needed to throw up.
