Wasn’t totally sure what to expect - but everything we had (peach fall gazoz to drink, the bao, chaat, and jianbing) was great and super flavorful! The service was great too. Would love to return!

Limited menu but good food. Vegan. Creative dishes. Limited seating indoors, plus a decent amount of outdoor seating.

I adore this place. The workers are friendly, and you can tell they put a lot of care into both their service and their food. Everything is delicious - you may have to wait a bit, but I promise it’s worth it, and you know they’re absolutely crushing it because you see them make your food right in front of you. Go give them a try!

The food was fun and different. The staff effusive. It was a Sunday night, so less spirited atmosphere than maybe other nights. Be prepared to go vegan at least for this meal!

I’m a big foodie and I’ve been a vegan for about 2 years now and I’ve been experiencing different vegan restaurants and cuisine. Some place were amazing and others missed the mark completely. In my visit to Mazu I got the Guabao: A steamed bun with five spice braised tofu, mustard greens, cilantro, and peanut powder and Fattoush:
Falafel balls served on chopped salad with sev, tahini, mint, and sumac (GF). The presentation was beautiful and appetizing but the reality was unfortunately looks can be deceiving and in this case it absolutely was. The menu is inspired by diverse backgrounds, including Taiwanese, Israeli-Palestinian, and other cuisines. But what it’s not inspired by or infused with is flavor, seasonings or spice. The Guabao where was the five spice? The only thing good about this dish was the pickled radish’s which they only served 4 lil slices of smh. The Fattoush was also flavorless, gritty and dry and the “salad” it was served on top of was basically the same how does that happen. The tahini had no flavor the whole experience was unfortunately lackluster. I was so excited and ended up so disappointed. I came from out of town to experience this restaurant, the customer service was good and had more seasoning than the food. On a positive note the Mango Lassi was delicious and refreshing.

Super delicious food! I am not a vegan but just wanted something different and fresh for lunch. Stopped in and they had a wonderful, smiling staff. Don’t think I’ve ever had such a smooth hummus!! Absolutely will be back! Highly recommend you give this place a try, vegan or not!

Very disappointed in service, 3 people, 1 item at a time. Kind of ruined the Birthday Celebration experience

You won’t find your usual vegan burger of buffalo cauliflower here. This place has a unique menu with foods you’ve probably never tried from cuisines from around the world. We split a mango lassi drink (which I have never seen vegan before) and chaat nachos, which were a daily special. Everything had delightful flavor profiles! Definitely worth a try, just be prepared to try new foods! Staff was super helpful and even helped me modify the spice level of the nachos so I could handle it.
