Very nice venue, well run, polite friendly staff

Totally revamped building did a great job.
Ideal place for a reception. Service was excellent and a full bar. Food was good too.

As a fellow wedding photographer. I will ONLY recommend this venue because of Mama Shannon! She killed it. Please never get rid of her !

Beautifully restored RR station

We got married here Aug 30th, and when I say they made our dreams come true, I mean it! Shannon was the kindest person in a time of slight stressful wedding planning, she was so quick with responses, and was genuinely the most caring person. It truly felt like a friend helping! I had so MANY compliments from my guests about Shannon and the venue! It’s such a unique place with so much history and everything turned out absolutely beautiful! I wish I could do it all again to experience the hospitality and magic they provided

Great afternoon jazz spot.

Beautiful location. Very friendly staff. The food was delicious. Parking was a little troublesome, but I eventually figured it out. If you have a large party, the food was getting a little less than the ideal temperature, just over halfway through the guests. The taste made up for that.

My daughters wedding was here, great experience & we've come to plenty of craft shows, all very nice

It's a beautiful venue!

If you are considering getting married at the B&O Station Banquet Hall, here is my advice: DO IT.

My husband and I got married there in September 2024 and it was a dream. The venue is beautiful and historic but what makes it shine are the love and care put into events by the owners and B&O staff.

The food was incredible (I got many compliments from guests saying it was the best wedding food they ever had), the service was great, Shannon (the venue coordinator) did an amazing job setting up my cookie table, and the staff very quickly worked to set everything up and take everything down after the wedding (it's so nice to have a venue that helps with that).

A special shoutout to Shannon - she went above and beyond to help as I was planning my wedding, and whenever I apologized for having so many questions, she would say, "don't apologize - this is your big day!". In addition to being the venue coordinator and helping me with logistics before the wedding, and setting up my cookie table, she worked with my vendors, including my super helpful day-of-coordinator, Lissia, with It's the Little Things, to make sure everything would run smoothly. She ALSO bartended at my wedding and was an absolute blast.

My husband and I knew the owners, Cat and Eric, before we decided on this venue for our wedding. Part of what helped us make this decision was the knowledge that they do great work and take a lot of pride in this banquet hall.

Also, the outdoor ceremony is gorgeous. They recently renovated the deck so it's brand new materials and they also planted flowers along the "aisle." The bridal suite was so big and had two chairs with mirrors and tables which was perfect for getting ready with our hair and makeup artists.

This, in my opinion, is a gem of a wedding venue in Youngstown. Highly recommend.

Wow wow wow! This place is a gem. Atmosphere is warm and amazing! Can’t say enough about the catering. Food is so full of flavor. 10/10 recommend Daddy D’s catering and B & O Station Banquet Hall for weddings, graduation, anniversary, birthday, showers, or whatever. Definitely go to for catering.

Excellent venue for ceremony & wedding receptions. Formerly a restaurant & train station. This wedding & event center is beautiful inside. The outside needs restoration and painted but so much history. Definitely recommend this venue if you are looking for a very cool venue & a historical site in Youngstown.
