Chicken Parm was good. The noodles are definitely out of a box not homemade. The sauce is good. The ravioli was too thick and seemed undercooked not really hot or done all the way the service was good. It was just OK typical for Youngstown. I guess that’s why I like to go to Cleveland and Pittsburgh if you want real Italian, you have to leave the area. The cannoli’s were mostly empty inside and more the size of a clothespin cookie. Looked a lot better on valley spotlight ??♂️ You could go to papa Gia’s for 1/2 the price and a little better food

Another amazing meal at this downtown gem. Our party of five really enjoyed our dinners. The French onion soup is amazingly good and the service was incredible. I encourage people to support this restaurant, especially after all of the bad hands They were dealt; from Covid to downtown construction and then the explosion at the realty building. this is a great place for a date night or dinner with the family. Highly recommend it.

We sat at the beautiful bar. Julia’s service was wonderful, the atmosphere is great, the food is fantastic. Best bolognese I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back!

Wow, just wow! The food and service we had was amazing. I ordered the half Ceasar salad, it was huge, I had to share, reluctantly, with my fiancé. My main course was the Parmagiana di Melanzine, it was so cheesy and flavorful and rigatoni ala vodka was a delicious addition to the dish. My fiancé had the Pappardelle ala Bolognese and the flavor was fantastic, perfectly cooked. I would highly recommend the house made foccacia, we didn't realize it was an entire loaf, which didn't stand a chance amongst our table of friends!!! 10/10 we can't wait to go back and try other dishes!!

Our experience from start to finish was incredible. Walking in the smell is amazing. Our server was delightful and knowledgeable. We had the ricotta board greens and beans along with focaccia bread appetizer to share. The four of us also shared wood fire shrimp(this was a crowd favorite), salmon, ravioli and pasta aglio olio de pepe. All the dishes we fabulous and we were happy to share. Cocktails were creative and yummy. Desert was tiramisu and canolli. Perfect celebration meal

**Review of Casa di Canzonetta - Grand Re-Opening Night**
Casa di Canzonetta’s grand re-opening was a night to remember, and one of the standout moments was the exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the kitchen. After enjoying a delightful meal and drinks at the bar, I was thrilled when the staff invited me to see where the magic happens.
Stepping into the kitchen was an incredible experience. Even after hours, the energy was palpable as the team wrapped up their night. The chef passionately explained their commitment to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, including the basil they grow in-house. It was inspiring to see how this dedication to quality enhances every dish.
The highlight of the tour was witnessing the impressive array of homemade pasta and some of ohio based dryed pastas the artistry involved in preparing beloved Italian classics. At the end of a hard night, it was heartwarming to see the team come together, sharing stories and connecting over their shared passion for food and hospitality.
This personal touch truly set Casa di Canzonetta apart. With their exceptional cuisine, delightful drinks, and an insider’s view of the kitchen, I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. I look forward to returning and savoring more of what this gem has to offer.
At the end of the night, and to sum things up... this team wants to see you here and are happy to stay late just to talk to you about the history of the location. I hope the magic of their reopening night is something they as a team are able to look back on and never forget.
Prices are outrageous

Amazing establishment! We had a party of 10 and had a GREAT experience with the reservations, server, and delicious food. The decor and vibe of the dining area, bar, and outside dining makes you feel as if you are in NYC or major city. We will def be back!

Zero wow factor. We wanted to love it because we will spend good money on good food. It looked good being served but whoever was cooking did not put any love into it at all. The server was nice but should've helped us out with our choices. The double cut port porterhouse was nothing but a big clump of meat! No cornbread anything, no sides come with it and for $42? The Cobb salad had big clunky cut ingredients, like it was a salad picked up from Giant Eagle. There were hard stems in the escarole and beans. The fries were 2-toned as if they recycled some from the prior batch. The crab sandwich was flavorless. The risotto balls were okay but nothing came out hot for being served so quickly. The bone broth was less than mediocre, chewy cheese on top of it. The atmosphere was nice but what good is that if the food this disappointing? And I don't even want to talk about the price. $180 for 2 of us including a tip, no desserts. If anything this taught me was that I am too passive at bad resturants but hate being a complainer. I don't like hurting these people's feelings but thumbs down. You can do better than this. Wish we had gone to McDonalds. We could've spent that money a hundred different ways. It was our first and last time there.

Had a confirmed Mother’s Day reservation and got an email (not even a call) 2 days after that it was cancelled by the restaurant- I called and they were “fully booked.” In other words don’t try to make reservations because they don’t work. Staff did not do anything to make it right.

Just noticed my review was deleted from New Year’s Eve. I was staying in the hotel and after dinner with chased into the hotel and left a very nasty letter at my door because I under tipped because the waitress’s attention was entirely focused on one person of a three person party. No doubt that this was clearly outrageous. My food was also very greasy. Told the hotel about it, who supposedly talked to the restaurant owner. As I’m a Hilton Honors Goldmember, now when I stay at this hotel, I can no longer use my dining credit.

We had two great experiences here followed by maybe the worse service I have ever encountered at a meal. I mean this waitress was the full package of rushing to get rid of you while also screwing up your order and then capping it off by giving you the wrong bill. The food was fine but who could really enjoy it when she was asking you whether you needed a box as you are barely getting your first bites in. This was also in the middle of the day so it was not like it was close to closing time. This is too nice of a spot to have such poor service. Highly doubt I would recommend this place to anyone or go back.
