I think the 3.8 rating is fair for the Pitt boss because the food is not bad it’s just not the original. So it’s safe to give this a 6.5/7 out of 10 ?

Don't waste your money. 2 Brisket sandwiches were half fat, half meat. Hardly any sauce on them.

Raw fish, Raw shrimp but hard on the outside, no sauce, cornbread was also undercooked and the Mac and cheese had absolutely no flavor! Not to mention you can’t call and talk to anyone. I don’t understand how this place hasn’t been shut down now that I have read the reviews. It’s completely unacceptable.

I am on a diet for my high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I decided to order a. Sandwich . I received a small portion which is fine but dried out meat that is old is not acceptable. If they wanted me to spend more for fresh succulent meat not a problem! Just watch what you order ! Terrible guess I will head over to Barry Dingles.
I ordered a whole slab of ribs when Mr Staples was owner store as a gift for my Aunts birthday . She said they were good this was February 20,2021. Feed back not good on new owners so sad. Miss Young and Sonny man had the best recipes.

The pulled pork sandwich was amazing. I was here for an event with a buffet. I ate two sandwiches in a row. That's how delicious they were. I probably would have ate three, but I didn't want to be greedy.

Bridgeway Capital held a meet and greet. It was great. Also had a comedy show that was great also.

I’m doordashing and they made me wait 10 minutes for an order that they claimed wasn’t in their system just so they can tell me after having me wait that the order isn’t found in their system then they kicked me out. Very unprofessional.

Prices totally went up and they have the nerve to not cook the food right as well . I bought chicken wings price $25 . I pick it up the meat is not well done soft like pig feet . I call them after I leave no answer because it's a recorded line. I also just go back and tell the cashier and she says I'll be right back . Some ignorant guy comes out and ask me if I'm from. Warren ohio because I have a complaint. His customer service was terrible and said I was making him waste chicken . He also got smart with me in front of a person who was actually from Warren ohio. I'm from youngstown and been eating there over 20 years . You just lost a customer.he lacks customer service skills . the customer is always right and he should know that that he makes the business look bad .

The only reason they got this one star is that was the only way that I could leave a review. This was the worse meal I have had since being in town and what a disappointment when you haven't been here since 2020. I mean I got a Big Bertha and it is raw that's unacceptable fish was cold unacceptable not fried long enough just what is happening to Staples y'all need to change the name cuz Charlie ain't there and neither is none of his Cooks because this is a pollen I want my money back

The food was alright but when we picked up the food the fries were hot but the ribs was cold. The cold rib was just placed between two pieces of bread. I'm not sure what type of spices they are using in their sauce but nothing at all tastes like Open Pit BBQ in this sauce ???

Havent eaten here in 5 years or so. Never cared for their ribs but chicken, pulled pork was good. Got the pulled pork sammy and chicken tenders, 3 sides.. it was all pretty bad. Not terrible but bad enough ill nvr go there again. I got quite an assortment and for it all to be bad says it all. I heard aftwr the owner died his kids and fam were fighting over money.. and now the place doesnt make any decent let alone good food. Spend your money elsewhere
