Classic bakery used to be the best bakery in the area but cost cutting measures are evident and quality has gone way down. We all know that costs have gone up but $30 for a cake that has so little frosting that the layers don’t stay put and shrinking cakes is not a good look. I think most customers would rather pay a little more and keep the quality we are used to. Still $30 for a cake isn’t cheap. I don’t plan on frequenting this establishment again.

We were so excited to get our wedding cake from classic bakery as it is was our favorite local bakery. We ordered ahead with plenty of time and emailed reference photos. When I ordered it, they assured me the design was no problem. When I picked it up, the day before the wedding, it was not at all like the reference photo. I explained and showed the photo I emailed vs the photo they had (no idea where that photo came from) and they couldn’t care less. The employee had an attitude and was nasty to me from the moment I walked in and didn’t have my order number. Extremely disappointing considering the cake was for my wedding! Their customer service is no way to treat a bride. Unfortunately I will no longer be giving classic any of my business. Would absolutely avoid for any wedding needs.

We love classic first off BUT my daughter ordered her wedding cake there and it wasn’t the right cake at pick up, totally wrong decorated , but the most part I am upset about is the girl who waited on us was NOT APOLOGETIC AT ALL AND WAS LIKE WELL THIS IS WHAT WE GOT TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT, wasn’t even like bothered by the fact. Not even a omg im So sorry, we were Less than 24 hours out but did not even offer to DO ANYTHING . I don’t care if it was a &1 cupcake if it is for your wedding day this is awful customer service to ruin the cake for a bride.. so seriously think about ordering anything for an event
So for the holidays I usually just grab a large pumpkin pie from Sam’s it’s nothing special but gets the job done, I recently for thanksgiving came upon a gifted pumpkin pie from Classic Bakery and let me tell you it was the absolute best pumpkin pie my family has ever had even down to the crust. It is top of the line. I will be back for more!!

We recently had an opportunity to sample several items from this wonderful family-owned bakery, including red velvet cake, a variety of donuts, wedding cookies, chocolate dipped peanut butter cookies, and a most excellent apple coffee cake. All superb, and all exceeded our expectations. The red velvet cake has a light texture, less heavy than most (in a good way) with excellent and also light cream cheese icing. The glazed donuts, when heated, are every bit as good as a Krispy Kreme (where I come from this is the highest compliment)! You will not be disappointed, but, a word of warning, afterwards, you will need to plan some time to exercise (or burn it off), because you will not be able to stop eating this stuff! Highly recommend! Variety of products, all fresh. Outstanding service. Go ahead treat yourself.
