Don't buy Strawberries from Giant Eagle. I watched an employee stock the strawberries and thought that they would be fresh. I checked out the packages and purchased 2 quarts. When I got home and opened up the packages, I found that over a quart was unusable. I was forced to throw them away. This is not the first time that I have had to trow away a few strawberries. I love strawberries but will never get the from Giant Eagle again. The produce manager needs pay more attention to what is put out for the shoppers.

This is kind of funny I work at Giant Eagle, and had to help someone take out the trash. It is a shame they throw out so many donuts, and things that still can be used in the break room, or Rescue Mission for the homeless.

Picked up a tray of mini sandwiches and fried chicken for a party and the food was absolutely phenomenal and the people were so gracious and helpful. I would definitely recommend giant eagle deli department and hot food department everyone looking for a great meal

WORST cake ever. Horrible miscommunication. I called on wednesday to order a cake for sunday. I explain that I wanted strawberry in the middle and enough to feed 16 people. I wanted it in a baby pink and plain. The piping in the top and bottom is supposed to be the same color as the whole cake. I also wanted a smash cake. On the smash cake it was supposed to have a one with a strawberry. I had bought a cake topper for the larger one. She said it was no problem and it would be ready the day if the party at 12. I get a call the morning of saying that they hadn’t started it yet and they needed more clarification. Said they couldn’t just leave it plain. They put happy birthday charlotte even tho I wanted it plain. Then she asks about the strawberry, and the colors. I pick it up and it is total different colors. the handwriting is awful… and there is no strawberry. I didn’t even notice the cracks and lean until I had walked out and paid for it. it is completely lopsided. the icing is dry and cracked. Ridiculous

Do not get a cake from this bakery. It looks like a child wrote this and it collapsed the second we walked out of the store. I get that this isn’t a high end bakery but this is completely unacceptable. It’s going straight to the trash because I’m too embarrassed to bring it to my daughters baptism.
