Jay's Famous Hot Dogs

How sad they changed their chili recipe. First hot dog shoppe and Jib Jab and now Jay’s. People used to drive from miles away just for their sauce and they changed it to skimp on money. What an abomination.

Landon and Jayce love putting weiners in nice white buns. They really know how to make delicious dogs. They love to load up my weiners with extra chili and cheese.

Worst hot dog shop I've ever been to. Chili was awful, didnt even resemble hot dog chili. The bun was chewy and gross and the hotdog was like it was boiled. Fries were soggy and gross and even worse with their chili on them. I come from a place that is known for hotdogs chili and this is not it. If in Boardman, there are so many good restaurants, this place made my taste buds sad. Avoid it at all costs.

The dogs were very good and the buns were very fresh. Liked the chili sauce. The fries were a little underdone but ok. Can only get to the restroom from outside.

My husband likes to stop here when we're in town. We grew up and he ate this a lot. But this time, he felt that the sauce was not the same. I, however, felt the place was much cleaner than normal.

Called in an hour beforehand to order 4 dozen chili dogs and 2 trays of fries (was hungry). They had it ready a few minutes after I got there. Top notch service. Top notch dogs. 6/5 stars

I have heard a lot about the place so decided to take the whole fam. Food was tasty and not overly priced. Customer service was fantastic. Not much place to eat inside so we just sat at the tables outside. It was worth the one shot time eating there, but I left feeling like for the same amount of money there were better options for us in the area.

Definitely taste a bit different from years back, however it's still a great chili dog ! Jays way, all the way. Staff is always nice, and the hotdogs are always served fresh & fast !
