Fantastic owners and just as fantastic food - recommend!!!
Shocked to see that this restaurant is not more highly rated than it is. Little Hunan is a hidden gem that my husband has been frequenting for nearly 30 years and he’s been taking me there for over 18 years. It’s one of our local go-to restaurants. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s clean and the staff is super friendly. It feels like you’re coming over a good friend or family member’s place for dinner when you come here!
We have introduced many friends to this place and every time we hear the same thing “THIS is our new favorite Chinese restaurant!!”
To address a couple of the remarks I saw in a couple of other reviews:
Yes, the ownership did change hands at one point. The current owner worked for, and was trained by, the original owner for years before he took over ownership.
The egg rolls are the best we’ve ever had - always fresh and crispy and just SO good!
I can’t speak for the entire menu because we are creatures of habit and always get the same thing “Sesame Chicken with Diaz rice” - you won’t find the “Diaz rice” on the menu, but ask for it and you’ll be pleased!!!
Some dishes our friends and family have gotten and were thrilled with are: General Tso’s, moo goo gai pan, egg foo young, sweet and sour chicken, vegetable lo mein, chicken wings…ALL great!!
If you’re local and you haven’t tried this place yet - try it and see for yourself. If you’re just passing through - try it, but you might find yourself “passing through” more frequently just to eat here!!

I have been eating this chinese food for the last 28 years. I still come to this place when I come to town. It has consistently tasted the same. The is not your "typical" Chinese food, and it's way better. I can't even believe all these mean and nasty things people have said about this place. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.

The staff is friendly, but it shouldn't take more than an hour to get chicken fried rice and an order of pot stickers. I was told 25 minutes for pick-up. I went in after 25 mins, only to have to wait more than 35 additional minutes and watch 6 other people leave with their orders. I was told that all orders with "similar meals" were made 1st so my order was "pushed" to last. For a 6pm order I walked out with my food at 7:10pm?
Parking: There are maybe 6 spots to park in out front. There is a tiny parking area in the back, but it's dimly lit and feels unsafe, not to mention the terrible pavement/potholes.

Nice people, but this is the worst chinese food I have EVER had in my entire life! Everything was so gross that we threw it away and reordered from Imperial Garden! Egg rolls were mushy and tasteless, general Tsos chicken tasted like rock hard pork in barbeque sauce, the fried rice was half uncooked and hard and literally tasted like uncooked white rice with soy sauce in it. Finally the chicken lo mein which is my favorite was just half cooked vegetables and overcooked noodles in the nastiest thick beef sauce. It was literally the sadest meal of my life and I should have returned the food for a refund! My wife and son were laughing eating it because it was so bad! DO NOT EXPECT EDIBLE FOOD.

Best Chinese food in town
The overall taste is not spicy and the seasoning is moderate, making it delicious. The price is also relatively cheap. Recommended menu items include Oriental fried rice, Hunan beef, Mongolian beef, etc.

We have been ordering here for quite a while now, and everything has been great until our last order. INEDIBLE, is the only words for what we received. I spent $37.75 only to get 3 meals, no one would eat, and I only got three containers for my lunches to go to work.
