Admittedly, I am a bit of a sushi snob coming from the west coast, but this place is great for a Midwest sushi chain. Their rolls are delicious, and their tempura is on point. I always order a large miso to go!
Kid-friendliness: My kids love sushi, but there are other fantastic options if your kids haven't developed a taste for it yet. And the water bubble wall divider is too much fun. Make sure you ask for a booth on that wall!

Just what you would expect from a great sushi bar. Best sushi I have had east of the Rockies.

The sushi is alright. I ordered a couple of basic rolls. The tuna avocado and yellowtail rolls were fine, but the spicy salmon was not great. It was super bland, not spicy, and just an overall letdown. I also had the sashimi appetizer. The salmon was good but the tuna was inedible. I'm not sure if they cut it incorrectly or it was just wasn't fresh, but it was chewy, tasted frozen, and ended up being thrown away.

Unfortunately I did not get pictures of our food like I usually do I am very sorry. But believes that the advertisements and pictures are exactly what the food very professional kitchen!
If you have someone who does not necessarily eat sushi there are steamed and fried rice options. The fried rice at this establishment is very well prepared.
The portions are huge. This was my second time there and I cannot comment on the deserts because I was so full I could not get dessert. I would say $15 to $22 is the average cost of a meal. And most people will be taking some home.
The Sake that I got last time was absolutely phenomenal! The particular Sake that I got came in a bottle and for a traditional Sake drinker I was very very pleased.
The staff is authentic very professional and very fun they will explain what dishes are if you do not know.
