Went to the Boardman Outback last night for dinner with a friend. I had not been there for several months and went specifically for the prime rib. I was told by the server that prime rib is not available anymore except on the weekends. Very disappointing! We ordered the Trio Appetizer and it was very disappointing. The onion petals were long strings of onions all breading, the mozzarella sticks tasted like a blended cheese and the bacon cheddar fries had very little cheese and a tiny sprinkle of bacon bits. I ended up ordering the ribs, another mistake. They were mostly bone, sauce had no flavor. I ordered the sweet potato for a side. When the plate came it had 2 little brown flat things on the plate about the size of a large egg. I was informed by the server that the sweet potatoes were very small so the gave me 2. These 2 would not have equalled half of a normal sweet potato. I have a feeling that since I was last there that they have a new manager because I never had this experience in the past. I would think that with Texas Roadhouse across the street who serves prime rib 7 days a week, and would never have served those sweet potatoes that Outback would up their game. It will be a very long time, if ever before I go back to Outback,. especially with Texas Roadhouse across the street and Longhorn up the road.

The deasoning nlend the like to pollute tge plate with greatly diminishes the quality and enjoyability of the food. Most emphatic when coconut shrimp get coated with it.

Recently went out to boardman for a nice steak dinner. We were stuck between longhorn and outback. I decided outback so we could get a bloomin onion. When we first sat down there was a vent directly overhead that was blowing freezing cold air, in November. The waitress was great and got us moved. I loved the onion and the bread of course, but when my filet came out, it was horrible. It tasted like a burger which I absolutely despise. Tasted nothing like steak. I told the waitress but nothing was done, nothing was comped. I only took one bite. So my dinner consisted of a baked potato. Moral of the story is, go to longhorn instead next time 😂

We visited the Outback in Boardman, Ohio, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. Our server, Amy, was sweet and genuinely did the best she could, but it was clear she was overwhelmed with far too many tables. Because of this, service suffered significantly — we waited over an hour just to complete a simple meal for two adults and one child. We ordered three meals and one appetizer, and even basic essentials like silverware were an issue. After waiting 10 minutes and asking, I eventually had to get up and go to the bar myself. The bartender told me I needed to ask the host — who wasn’t even at the stand. After realizing there were no rolled silverware available, she said she’d get plastic ones. When I said I could grab some from the high-top tables, her response came with unnecessary attitude.
Other tables who arrived after us received their drinks and food before we did. I even ordered my son’s meal first so he could start eating sooner, yet my drink didn’t arrive until he was nearly finished — which really shows the slow timeline.
On top of that, the women’s restroom had no toilet paper, no soap, and no paper towels. When I mentioned it to an employee, the comment was shrugged off as if it wasn't important.
As a former Bloomin’ Brands trainer and employee, this entire visit was extremely disappointing. I know the standards this company expects, and this location fell far below them. I truly hope management takes these issues seriously and makes the improvements needed.

Within the last month I have went to the Boardman location 2 times. Both times the food was great but the service was underwhelming! I sent an email after the last visit which has been approximately 3 weeks ago expressing my service concerns. To my surprise I received a call from the manager, who was sincere and apologized for the service and asking if we would be willing to give them another chance, which I agreed. He stated that he would send gift cards in the mail the next day and now almost 2 weeks later, nothing! I'm going to miss the food but definitely the lack in commitment goes clear to the management!

Great experience! The food was delicious and cooked just right, and the prices were very reasonable. Our server, Amy, was fantastic. She was friendly, attentive, and took the time to explain some great menu deals we didn’t even know about. It made the whole meal that much better. Highly recommend asking for Amy if you go, she really made it enjoyable! Excellent service and great value all around. We’ll definitely be back!

Our waitress was unprofessional and very rude at times. There were two other waitresses who brought us our drinks and appetizers, so our wait ress did not have to work hard that night. We ordered cheesecake with chocolate sauce to go, and found out she put containers with jelly in them, rather then chocolate sauce.

Absolutely the worst experience of dining out that I've had in a long time. Ordered coffee and they brought it to me old and cold. Not once but twice!! Ordered a burger well done came to me almost raw!! The sever had an attitude and didn't listen to a word I said. Don't waste your money at this restaurant.
