This is definitely one of thee... Worst Burger I ever had....for the price I thought this Burger was going to Slapp...It was definitely the opposite...Super dry...Over cooked.. Bread was hard as Cardboard...I spent $35.00 for a... Cheese Burger... Fried Green Tomatoes and a Kool-Aid... Absolutely disappointing...For the price the Food should be 💯 better...The Price and the Quality... Definitely needs improved...

I’m from Va I’m used to everything old and use too … Pittsburgh soul food scene is a disaster I traveled random one day and typed in soul food Youngstown and let me tell you I wasn’t disappointed at all by the price by the food was all worth it I will be back

Another great meal at Savannah Joe's...shrimp & grits, green beans, collard greens, and cornbread were exceptional. We stopped on our way from Pittsburgh to Warren and the food is worth the diversion! I tried to convince Joe to open a branch in Pittsburgh. Now if I can just hit the lottery! Father Bob

Ordered 3 whole wings. And 1/2 slab of ribs. Never seen a 1/2 slab with no ends. More of a center cut is what I received. I ordered fries with were o.o but very small serving. Onion rings were good but bland. The wings were light brown not cooked enough inner skin was wet like rotissere chicken. No crispy crunch. Ribs were not saucy no bread comes with them but no sauce to sop up anyway. No extra sauce on side either. Just thin sauce the rib was cooked in Prices really high for a corner chicken rib place. Could have eaten at a restaurant for same price. Definitely needs work on the food .

I use to go here a lot when they first opened. It was something different and close to my house. Things have changed a lot. Food quality TERRIBLE. I ordered simple breaded shrimp with fries and coleslaw. Got my food and the shrimp breading was damn near off all the shrimp, fries taste like cooked in old grease, and the coleslaw was disgusting. Tasted like it was old and spoiled. I promise I'll never go there again. I've heard similar issues so as for most restaurants in Youngstown you will not last long. It was a Sunday and you guys was busy but I'm sure I hope not that you didn't give all those customers the same food. Probably not oh well.

Wonderful food! I had the shrimp and grits. The grits were perfect consistency. Ample serving sizes. Don't leave without a piece of pound cake. 😋

Wonderful food and service! I got the chicken bacon ranch melt and it was fresh and delicious, my husband got the gumbo with cornbread and it was absolutely delicious. We also got the hot honey shrimp as an appetizer and they were perfectly sweet and spicy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the restaurant was welcoming, impeccably clean and inviting. We would most definitely stop again.

Savannah Joe's is a step above the rest. I travel from Cleveland whenever I can to enjoy this experience. I love the smothered chicken which is crispy and tender under the most decacent dark gravy. The Mac is oh so creamy fresh with my ever so lip smacking greens. With the tea comes back it's a perfect blend to wash the pallet after a so filling meal. Price point is perfect. One comment, just have the cashier's check on customer because it's a great opportunity to upsell dessert for home or in the restaurant. SV, 😋🤤
