T&J’s Brickhouse Tavern

I’m sharing this because I want people to know about the extremely unsafe situation I experienced connected to this establishment. During my time around this bar, I felt deeply uncomfortable and unsafe due to the company and behavior they allowed inside. I also witnessed activity that looked suspicious and made me believe something inappropriate or illegal might be going on, including people handling small blue baggies inside what used to be the fish tank.

I brought my concerns to others because of the distress it caused me, but nothing was addressed. As someone who has been through severe trauma and is dealing with real emotional aftermath, the environment here only added to it.

Whether the business realizes it or not, the atmosphere they maintain and the individuals they allow to hang around create a place that does not feel safe, respectful, or professionally run. I would never recommend this bar to anyone who wants to feel protected, respected, or comfortable.

Drinks are expensive

Good food, good service, good times. Nice neighborhood bar. I feel safe there. Troy and Jen are good people.

Josh is great! Food is great! Atmosphere is great!

The drinks are stiff and the food is very good! We had a gentleman named Josh that cooked and bartended and he was very great serving everyone! Prices were very very reasonable!!

Average bar for the area. If you’re not from around here, it will be very rowdy for the weekends. Decent time overall

Dirty place.

I went here for their 50-cent wings today. I would suggest this place over a different bar with wings. The service was good, and got a refill on drinks! The atmosphere seems good, it was a bit empty when we went but I am not much of a bar/club scene person so it worked out anyhow. They offer tvs for sports, darts, pool tables, and even gambling machines.

After reopening, the environment at T&J brickhouse is better than ever. They offer a small "bar food" type menu of fried goods and sandwhiches. Multiple pool tables and dart boards, and they have great service. Recommended.
