love love love westside. We have been for bowling, concerts, brunch, themed parties, yoga- you name it and they've probably got it. the staff there are so friendly and the food is amazing. People have said it before but it really is a gem in Youngstown

Went to a concert and opened a tab, when ready to leave I closed the tab. When I got home I had 2 charges one for the tab and one for $35 even. I called the venue the lady said it happens everyday and the money will be back in 3 days. 3 days later still no money. I tried calling phone was busy. So I show up and talk to the owner he was no help blamed my bank. Now I’m disputing charges and jumping through more hoops. I’ll be filing a claim with the better business bureau, a police report and a civil suit. If the money is not back in my account. Also will never be a returning customer.

Touring musician/drummer/hired gun here. When I walked to for load-in I didn’t see any staff so it was under obvious assumption that the stage I see when I get inside is where the bands are potentially playing. Instead of being told “Hey the stage is here instead,” I got scolded and unnecessarily lectured by the bald guy with the tattoos about how to communicate and do my job. He further said how he’s never seen anyone in his career do something like that. Never felt so unwelcome to play a show. Was told by other bands that they were getting the same cold vibe from this guy as well.

I’ve been playing there for years, and I’ve had nothing but good experiences. It’s truly a special place in Youngstown. Nate and his crew has always looked out for the community as a whole.
Can’t recommend this place enough, whether your local, a touring band, or just somebody from out of town you should definitely check the place out.

It's a fun place to go for music, drinks and bowling! Theonly reason I'm giving 3 stars is because your some of your employees need to learn about hygiene! All of the bowling balls i touched were so sticky and dirty I had to wash my hands multiple times. I also witnessed one of the employees go to the restroom and walk out without washing his hands because he didn't want to wait for the person in front of him.

got kicked out of a show i drove hours to for vaping. i’ve never smoked a cigarette or vaped in my life, and i don’t smoke weed in any capacity. even the people around me were arguing that i didn’t do anything. ruined my weekend and wasted a bunch of money. i really enjoyed being at this venue for the first time until this incident and was talking to my friends about how i wanted to return. the bartenders and rest of the staff are great, venue is super cool, but whatever security they’re contracting ruined all of that.

Cool vibe. There was a group of drunk people. A couple were quite rude and tried to take our belongings along with other people's. The business took care of it, pretty quickly, after it was brought to their attention.

The place was fun and we had a great. But the bowling pricing is outrageous. 10 dollars a person that 120 dollars they per hours for the 12 of us on 2 lanes. We played 3 hours for 360(seriously). The next had 4 people could play many games, we bearly made 3 games in 3 hours.

Nice place, girl at front desk very friendly. We had some yummy snack foods like nachos and pizza. Great prices on food and bowling.

I can remember taking my special needs group to this bowling alley. I thought hey let's support this bowling alley, instead of going to the most popular bowling alley's. Let me tell you, it was an terrible experience for us. Not only were the patrons nasty, the barmaids were nasty to us as well.
So I go support my nephew Nov 2, 2024 and it seems, Westside bowling alley just keeps hiring nasty employees. My experience in that place, isn't good. We'll go where our dollars are appreciated Not tolerated.
The one employee accused me of sneaking in the place, even with me showing him my wrist band. So he drags me all the way upstairs, ask the guy at the door (does he look familiar) the guy says yes. At this point, I asked for my refund, and left that trash can.

Such a killer spot! Great venue for live music. Good hangs. Good food. Good drinks. And killer lanes. Staff is some of the best folks you're going to find. Definitely recommend catching a show there or just stopping by to vibe. Almost forgot...killer merch too. Rocking my West Side trucker cap with pride.
