Restaurant was clean, server was very nice, and the food was great! My husband got the chicken fried steak and it was fantastic! We aren’t in Ada often, but we will be back!
The food was good but not worth the wait. It took over an hour to get our food. We were there almost 30 minutes before someone finally took our order.
Let me start with, the food was 7 out of 10. Pretty great for a limited diner menu. I would have give them a zero stars if possible. There’s no excuse to have only one server and one cook on Memorial Day if you are to stay open. Just another greed business knowing that the workers would make it work while being short staff. Absolutely disgusting. And to the waitress that was working, you were fantastic and if they aren’t paying you at least $15 an hour, quit. You work way too hard to not get paid for it.
Great FoodClean BathroomsThe Hickory Cheddar Burger was fantastic
Cool little spot that I'll give another shot. Not because the food was awesome or the place was great but because Dani, who was severally overwhelmed today with a lunch rush, handled it like a champ! Her service was great!I ordered the chicken fried steak, onion rings, fried mushrooms, and fries. I wish the fries were a little crisper but appeared fresh cut and that's a HUGE plus. Mushrooms are a little above average. I do not recommend the onion rings that are a little thicker cut than a condom. Was not impressed at all. The CFS was pretty good. I'd order it in a pinch but being in the south the standards are pretty high. They were out of mashed potatoes today ... so that sucked a little, but it happens.Next visit I'll give a burger a try or if it's Friday the catfish.$40 total tab but I did a little better than match the tab with a tip. Dani was that good!Be sure to follow for my 13k+ reviews and contributions!
I forgot to take a picture while I was there. I go to many different restaurants in Oklahoma; but when I want a real breakfast, I have to go to Deb's on main Street, Ada, Oklahoma. I'm a widow of 21 years, and I've noticed a lot of customers are single, widow, or widower. Cook can make you a beautiful cup of hot tea too, if you don't drink coffee. It's just a down home cafe.
Vegetarian options: Listen, this is an OLD MA AND PA diner. If they don't have it, they will make it! You will eat the most flavourful food , and sit in a tranquil atmosphere. Don't pass this place up. I try and go every month, even though I don't live in Ada.
Burger was good.. but the hamburger steak is the best in town I've had.. spiced and cooked to perfection..
Before we got our food we were thinking immediately this is going to be a three star experience. Waitress wasn’t to thrilled to take care of us. Place was darn near empty. The cleanliness was lacking. Stains on the cups, holes in the chairs, mismatched paint, crooked pictures, just all in all kind of grungy. However, once we got our food, it was actually pretty darn good. Hash browns were spot on, eggs good. Pancakes are big and delicious, sausage patties are awesome, buscuits warm, gravy wasn’t as hot as I’d like and bland but not bad. With the taste of the food the kid and I decided to go ahead and up our initial opinion up to a 4 star.
Food was ok but 4 the prices not worth it. Food portions are slim 2 none. Waitress was nice.
Had to wait 45 min on my food had to ask for Silverware was never asked if I wanted a drank refill. And was not greeted when coming through the door. Will not be back. Very unsatisfied. But food was ok .

Waited over an hour for our food and it ended up being pretty mediocre. Tater tots tasted old. Got my order wrong, but the catfish was pretty good.
Havent been able to try anything, their hours don't work for most working class people, the ones who actually work till 5. But would love to try it, needs to stay open longer.
The waiter was kind. The omelet was as basic as it gets. The hash browns came swimming in oil, so much so that a fork full would drip so you had to drip them off before eating them.
we waited an hour and still no food..Not the best place to eat lunch on your hour when you only have an hour. and this is the second time we have eaten here where they are out of product and have to order alternative substitutes.
This is our go to place in Ada for breakfast our favorite meal of the day. Can’t go wrong Debs Diner.
