Perhaps get the burger... the chicken fried dinner wasn't exactly fantastic.... bread was oddly chewy, and the curly fries had an odd aftertaste..... service was fair though and place was clean.

3 of us got the BBQ special with fries & one of us got the fish. There were no menu’s but the waitress said the menu’s should arrive soon. Price for specials was reasonable but paid $2.00 for a few slivers of onions. Drink refills were free & service was good & food served hot & in a reasonable time frame.

If you like fish, this is the place to go. Chicken fried steak didn't really have any flavor. There was only 3 options on the menu. Service was great.

Got chicken pot pie with a biscuit top. The biscuits were premade store bought biscuits. The potpie was served in a bowl it was more like chicken vegetable soup with only 3 chunks of chicken in a large bowl . There was a very limited menu of chicken potpies , burgers, fish basket or chicken basket . Also the waitress told us the menu items with no pricing available. Waa very disappointed I had heard good things about this place !!!

Saw a few bad reviews, thought we would give it a chance. Food was cold, Service was terrible, the waitresses argued with each other/didn't know how to put orders in. Needs to train better and find a way to let the waitresses know when food is ready instead of having to go to the back to check.

Our first visit to Chunky Dunkers was a success. We were greeted at the door by a very courteous young man who held the door open for my elderly mother. The food and service we're both good and the prices were fair. I look forward to their new extended menu offering more entrees. We will return and I sincerely hope this little business makes it in Adair. Opening such a business in a very small town is a risky venture. They are certainly trying hard to satisfy their customers and several staff members checked on us during our visit to see if we needed anything. I recommend this establishment.
I really wanted to give it -5 stars cause the service sucks and the management don't know what's going on with the orders it is completely ridiculous taking an hour to get food out to a table I definitely will not return

Interesting concept. You place your order & pay when you walk in, then you are seated. They will call your number when your order is ready and you raise your hand and they will bring it out to you. Food is good and it is rather large portions. I'm sure once they hire more wait staff, the dynamics will change a bit, but overall, the food is good.

The food is AMAZING and fresh out of the fryer, I came on the first day it opened so the food took a while to come out but it is amazing!!! The prices are very affordable!!! You seat your self after you order at the front counter! I like it cuz you order and pay first so you don’t have to wait for your waitress/ waiter to give you your check!I have nothing bad to say about this place every one (even the picky eaters in my family) LOVED THE FOOD! You can also take drinks, candy, and chips home while your done for a little price like $1!! Love it here and highly recommend!!!!
