I didn’t stay to eat. I just couldn’t because I did not like being the only brown person in the whole restaurant. The vibe was off for me.

Three times in a row we had bad experiences here. I've been coming here for 8 yrs now. First time it took 45 minutes to get our food, it was lunch but usually way faster. 2nd time, 6 days later it took 1:20min before we got our food one lady was nice and noticed what had happened and comped our lunch. 3rd time 4 days later figured last time was a bad day. Walk in and sat down and the cafe was full. After the entire cafe but 2 tables were cleared out we still hadn't been asked what we wanted to drink. So after 45min of watching the lady's chit chat we got up and went just down the road to Nowhere BBQ in AFTON and got great speedy service. And so you know we usually tip $7-8 on a $28 bill so it shouldn't be the tip.

It was pretty great food. Our waitress wasn't the friendliest, and another gal came by to fill our drinks and take care of us. She was very nice. We had steaks, which tasted good and were cooked just right, just kind of tough. The potatoes, fries and toast all tasted great as well. We had pie and icecream for dessert, which was very nice. Would like to try out some burgers and more pie another time.

me, I guess

Always thought I hated hashbrowns, turns out I just never had Green Country’s lol. Not too crunchy, not too soft, not too oily. Good low cost menu and quiet friendly atmosphere

We were just passing through and decided we needed some food, saw this unassuming cafe and stopped. When we walked in we were promptly greeted and told to have a seat where we'd like. All the small tables were full so we ended up at an 8top with just the 2 of us. Our drink order was taken quickly as well as our food order. The wait staff was fantastic the young men keeping drinks full and folks happy. The food was DELICIOUS!!!! Had the chicken fried steak and mashed tatos and it was seriously good. Shared our table with some lovely locals. This place really makes you feel welcome from the staff to the other patrons. If we are ever back this way we will stop again.
