March 21, 2026, it was around 4:30 pm and it wasn't really busy inside. There were no greeter to sit you and there were some staff that just ignored us. A young lady did come from the bar side and seated us. The waitress got our drink and food order, the food came and my husband okra was cold along with my hush puppies! A waitress came and it wasn't the one that took the order, and she said she would take care of it. My husband asked for A1 sauce and no the waitress that took our order didn't bring it, my daughter went and got it. The waitress didn't come and check like we have had in the past visits. I don't know what going on with the inconsistency of the food, but it isn't like it used to be. One employee dropped some silverware on the floor and came back through and just left it there. The young lady that seated us came behind him and picked it up. The floors were cleaner and there wasn't a lot of trash and food on the floor.
Best thing about this place was the fried pickles. Brought my wife here to have decent Valentines dinner. Asked to sit at a table when plenty were open throughout the restaurant but set us in the back room with other large groups then came the scream of someone's birthday. I ordered 13 Oz ribeye and my wife ordered the filet. My steak was half fat and grissel and tough but cooked the way I ordered. Her filet was not a filet looked more like a smaller ribeye cut hers was tough as all get out. After it all I didn't finish neither did she we left paying a $65 bill for subpar food. Do better. We will not be back

This place is definitely on fire! The service is beyond superb, the steak beats those made at world class steakhouses, and portions are plentiful (so plentiful, we had to get to go plates), so bring your appetite. You're in for a treat!

I was on crutches when I entered the restaurant, I was approached by a young lady and a young man to my understanding they were servers, I kept having to repeat my order, and if I wasn't sure about something I apologized and said please give me a minute to contact my fiancee mom to get clarification on the way she would like her meals to be made, the young man who sarcastically said after I asked if he was a server said to me no Im a host and rolled his eyes, then would get irritated at me for having to get clarification on the orders, so I asked for a piece of paper and pen to write everything down he gave me an annoyed look and that is when the manager approached us, and handed me the piece of paper and ink pen to write down my order as I was instructed on how the order was to be placed. I asked if would be okay for me to sit as my foot started to throb I am on crutches. The male host waited til the manager walked away then said very rude and disrespectful there isnt anyone stopping you from sitting, I was trying to be courteous and respectful because the host was behind me and I would have had to turn and face him, the male host was rude, disrespectfull, and his treatment towards me was completely uncalled for and I didn't appreciate being disrespected and made to feel like I was bothering him by placing an order, then when I asked him if he could maybe give me a time frame he snapped at me while looking at the tablet it'll be around 30-45 minutes with an attitude and then walked away. I paid for our order and went to sit down he approached me disrespectful said where is the paper you wrote everything down on? I looked up and said oh I do apologize here let me get it out of my purse, he snatched off the table and walked away. He reappear with my order, didn't offer to assist me taking to the car, although im on crutches, just set it down and walked away. There was a young man he had a dark blue shirt on, he rang up the order and brought me the card and receipt. The food: 2 12 oz tbone steaks were supposed to be rare, they were medium rare, the 2 orders of okra were not fresh they were cold and chewy, the 10oz rib eye was well done even though specifically asked for medium rare. Last minute I reorder the fried mushrooms and those were over cooked. This was not a good experience at all. Something I learned a long time ago is if wasn't for the guests at that restaurant or customer at a retail store we wouldn't have a paycheck. And a little life lesson ive stuck with for past 15 almost 16 years is Attitudes are contagious, is yours worth catching

I had to get ahold of another waitress named Michaela she is the reason I was able to eat since Douglas didn’t care to get us what we needed. The couple times Douglas did come to the table he spoke Spanish, I’m not sure why he assumed both of us spoke Spanish but I was not a fan of not being able to understand him on top of him being a horrible waiter. He also made a joke saying that I must have dropped the silverware which I do not appreciate seeing as how I told him we were sat with the dirty cutlery. I am really disappointed in this entire experience. I will not be sat in his section in the event I go back.

Have been to this steak house 3 times now. We do not live in Altus, but see a Dr. there. We have lunch her when we are in town. Excellent tasting steak, the steak fries are great too. Salads are good too. Margaritas are better than most. Extra limes given on request. Will return. Dress is casual.
