Joeys has the best ice cream!! My favorite is the cookie dough. I have tried cookie dough ice cream everywhere and nothing compares!!! The service is always terrific and the shop is super cute!!

Nice Altus small business to support and have good ice cream on a hot day. Chairs and tables outside too for cooler temps. One street off the main road. Plenty of parking. I had the Butter Pecan Gelato with plenty of pecans. Very good. Small size was plenty for me. Next time I'm going to get one of the Sorbet flavors. Thanks.

First time stopping in. Very glad we did! It was a relaxing atmosphere with amazing Gelato and ice cream. It reminds me of a relaxing coffee shop but with refreshing ice cream and Gelato. I got Snowy Road ice cream and my kids got tiramisu Gelato and banana pudding Gelato. It is a good price for the portion size & the person who was working was very nice. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I went to Joey’s this evening for ice cream. The service and atmosphere were terrible. One employee was working and she was not friendly at all. She did not greet us or attempt to make any suggestions on what to get. We asked if we could sample the ice cream and she said we could not. It was astonishing that that is their policy considering one single scoop of ice cream is $6.00. Another thing that is very off putting is that the customer cannot see the ice cream. There are no display cases. I want to see and taste my ice cream before committing to buying it especially if it’s a store I’ve never been to. There was also a singing group there and the music was so loud. Louder than a bar, I couldn’t believe it. The atmosphere did not feel like an ice cream shop at all. We ended up leaving and not buying anything. I have no idea if the ice cream is any good because the service and atmosphere were not inviting. We ended up going to Braum’s and my wife got a junior cone and I got a Sundae for less than $4.00. Don’t waste your time and money at Joey’s. Braum’s is right down the street, they greet you when you enter, say “have a nice day” when you leave, and most importantly let you see and taste the ice cream at a reasonable price.
