I would rate the food at about a 3/10. During our meal we witnessed a mouse running across the dining floor. The server was nice but the meal wasn't worth it. Also, make sure you have access to a bathroom.

We were seated immediately with delicious chips and salsa! My sister ordered the spinach queso and steak burrito. The steak burrito was delicious and recommended! The burrito was HUGE, enough for 2-3 people. I ordered the combination of enchilada, taco and chile relleno. The chile relleno was very good and I also recommend it. However the enchilada and taco, I wished I had returned. The meat seemed like part hamburger meat and something else. No cheese no onions but ONLY plain meat mixture in the enchilada. The taco had ONLY the meat mixture with no cheese no onions but only lettuce.
The waiter took our order but after several minutes, we didn’t receive our appetizer. It finally came late, after our main entree was served. On my order of the enchilada and taco, I was expecting cheese. He asked me if I wanted cheese sauce. I said yes. He knew it was our first time. The people who were seated after us, received their food long before ours came. We still had not received our spinach appetizer. I also wanted to order some queso with our chips. Our waiter never returned, so we asked another waiter, who then brought queso, more chips and salsa, but still no spinach queso.
When we received our bill, we were charged MORE DOLLARS than what price was on the menu for every item we ordered. We were upset that we were charged $1.25 for the cheese sauce! The steak burrito was $4.00 more. The spinach queso was a $1.00 more. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT.

This place has some of the best salsa you can eat. Everything homemade as close to Texas style you can get. The prices are very fair

Love the food, but you never know what you are paying. They say they had to go up in price on their food and are waiting for new menus. That has been months upon months. Even the online menu has different prices than what you are paying. Don't get me wrong I love the food and can afford to eat out, but I want to know what the prices are.

Very glad I stopped into Cancun. Things started off great with very good salsa that was not bland or liquidly. I ordered a la carte 1 beef soft taco, and 1 grilled chicken quesadilla. All for under $10. Plenty of food, especially with chips and salsa. The beef taco was surprisingly very good. I honestly didn't think I would like it when I saw the meat, but it was very flavorful. The quesadilla was great. Chicken was cooked just right, and enough melted cheese. You should definitely do this Mexican place. Another Mexican place in town was not good

Restaurantji Recommends
First they brought out two wrong plates. The waiter never check on us during our meal. We did not receive a bill at the table so at the register we had to sort it out with the cashier. The prices did not match the menu. It was noted there was a slight up charge but they did not say it was $2 per plate. Would not recommend. No toilet paper in restroom. Choose another place. Should have gone to Pizza Hut for their $2 pan pizza on Tuesday’s.

Chips and salsa were good. The hamburger meat was pretty bad and salty. The waiter said there were no black beans and since they were on the menu I asked another waiter and he got them for me . They were very tasty.

Excellent food all around. Chori-pollo, tampiqueña, and the smothered steak were perfect. Highly recommended. Also, they have flan which is rare to find at a restaurant these days. Will absolutely be back... Hopefully we can talk my youngest into going to Northwestern....
