We went for lunch/supper. I had planned on getting a cheeseburger with a fried egg on top but then looked at the specials. We got the fish plate and substituted the rice and beans/coleslaw for a cup of gumbo. Probably the most delicious meal I have had in a very long time. The hush puppies were so delicious and the gumbo was a masterpiece. Service was great and the people were so friendly. Do yourself a favor and go to this little gem!
Breakfast was pretty good. The eggs and bacon were delicious but the biscuits and gravy were a 0/10 - they had absolutely no flavor. I don't mean they could have used more flavor... I mean they literally had no taste to them. It was like eating clay.
The service was good and the restaurant was extremely clean and well decorated. I will be going back for sure but I'll get toast next time.
