We stopped here on our way home from OBU and it did not disappoint!! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, smiles and welcomes from the owner and her daughter. The food was delicious! We had sandwiches and salads and baked potatoes and cookies and banana pudding and she even graciously made extra tea for our boys when it ran out during her lunch rush! My wife and I stopped here on the way home to Stillwater. She had the bacon, avocado, lettice, and tomoato (B.A.L.T) and I had the Reuben. My wife said the sandwich was amazing, bread was soft and had good flavor, avocados extremely fresh, and the bacon didn't have any gristle, and was cooked perfectly. The Reuben was the best one I have had, and I've eaten them all over the country. Small town atmosphere, without the "we know you're not from around here"...
I had the beef stew with a cornbread muffin and a fiesta chicken sandwich. The food was delicious, the service was stellar, the ‘ice chest tea’ was very good, and it had exactly the small-town feel I like.
Two recommendations for improvement.
1. Get a restroom, or out up a sign where newbies can tell how to access the existing one,...
