I got the shrimp dinner and wasn't really impressed for the price the shrimp was pre- Frozen and battered and the onion rings were just battered with flour I'm assuming because they had absolutely no flavor same goes for the mashed potatoes.

I'd say this is more of a joint for people who want something more plain. and have to add salt and pepper at the table.

For 46 dollars and some change for two people I wouldn't eat there again

Ordered the club sandwiche and on the menu it does not state it has cheese. Well we get them and they are covered in melted cheese. Yes I should have asked to double check but honestly I was just going by what the menu stated was on the item. Not very friendly either. It's been over a year since eating here last as it was not very good then. we were served instant mashed potatoes then and hadn't been back until today.

Home atmosphere with a friendly wait staff. We came here for the pie!! Waitress stated we can call ahead for their whole chocolate cream pie as it tends to be ordered at the restaurant as it is made. Recommend the scoop of ice cream with your slice of apple pie! Yes, this is the place if you have dessert in mind.

I ordered a southwest salad. I couldn't help but laugh when it was brought to the table. It looked like the size of a side salad with a small amount of chicken and tortilla strips added. The tortilla strips were good, but not worth $11.40, since it was so small. Also, the menu said it was $10.99. I wonder why the menu had a different price from what I was charged. Anyways, it was a lesson learned. My husband and I have been wanting to try this place, so now we have. We'll move on to better places.

Food was good & fresh, today. Fish & beans were better than in awhile.

The onion rings were awesome and food was excellent. Music pretty good too. Totally recommend.

Service was terrible. No one greeted you. Waitress looked like she’d rather be somewhere else.
Food size portions were very small. My mash potatoes were ice cold. We will return to Reba’s place in the future.

What a beautiful building! I've only eaten there once so far, and have plans to go again tomorrow to meet with family - Atoka is 1/2 way between us. The food we got last time was really good! Since we were visiting, we were there longer than most diners. They lett us alone with an occasional tea refill. I HIGHLY recommend Jackson's due to the food, staff & atmosphere!

I was embarrassed to take my French guest to what turned out to be the worst restaurant in the entire United States. Never have I walked out refusing to pay my bill.

I ordered the hamburger steak with grilled onions and mushrooms. It was supposed to be 1/2 a pound. It was perhaps 1/16 of a pound but it was so burned it might have started out as more. There were no onions and the mushrooms were raw. The waitress dropped one of my pieces of Texas Toast on the table top and told me to pick it up because she didn't want to touch it - it didn't occur to her to offer me a new piece but since we had already waited for an hour for our meal I didn't say anything. I paid $1.99 extra for sour cream on a baked potato, which was cold, and the sour cream amounted to, at most, half a teaspoon.

My friend's mashed potatoes were cold and instant, the gravy was canned and the "homemade" Mac and cheese was out of a box. The "homemade" onion rings tasted frozen and were undercooked.

The waitress did not seem all that upset when we left without paying. They must be used to it.

Really enjoy this place. We like to eat here during high school basketball season when we are traveling. Fantastic food and great atmosphere. Love the history of the building.
