Frida's Cocina Mexicana

Frida’s Cocina Mexicana hidden in Bartlesville.Located away from the main restaurant row in an old repurposed building. The parking lot looks a little rough, but the inside of the restaurant is clean and bright. They have a friendly staff with good service. It has been a couple of years since we had dined here. We enjoyed our meal then, so we are back for another visit.The food here tastes very good. It is lightly spiced and no heat from peppers, served up hot and fresh on big plates. They start with complimentary chips and a mild, but flavorful salsa. They also have a hot salsa that blends up well with the mild stuff to make it perfect.I tried the Molcajate and my wife went for the Mexican Flag Enchiladas. The Molcajate is a meal big enough for two people. It has seasoned grilled tilapia, skewered shrimp, chicken and beef, all in a big screaming hot Molcajate with sautéed onions in red sauce. The sides are beans and rice with a half of avocado filled with pico de gallo. Very good meal with left overs to take home. The enchiladas were three typical enchiladas filled with chicken, cheese and beef. UPDATE: food is ok, salsa is loose and doesn't have much flavor at all. We went in with no one else there and it still took forever to place our order, get drinks and ticket.Food is good, servers ignored us for about ten minutes even after catching their eye and waving at them. There were about six other people in the restaurant and five employees.

Everything I have had has been excellent. We always go at lunch and it’s not crowded. Service is great and it has became our favorite place to eat.

Food was fantastic. Service was great! Restaurant was clean. This was a fabulous stop. Would definitely stop here again if I am ever in Bartlesville again.

Food was excellent - portions generous - service friendly. But when I got my check and a 3.5% fee was charged for using a credit card, it ruined the entire experience. Businesses know most people use a credit or debit card - do they really want to return to checks and counting cash?? Just add a little to the cost of the dishes and be realistic instead of sneaking in a few extra bucks on the tab.

mole was a little milder than i thought might be but it was good. vegetarian fajitas good too. pleasant experience

This place would have been a 5 star but I felt my chips were kind of cold When they were brought out to me. They had great customer service. The food had great taste.. I had their Carne asada of flautas and tacos! The hot and mild sauce was awesome. The portions fit the price for the meal. Definitely a place to come try! 4.5 stars not 4!

Not enough food on plate for what they charge. I oder taco salad no sour cream or shell and wanted chicken breast on it because of my diet and can only eat certain things. They brought it out charges extra for the chicken breast which I knew they told me. The chicken breast was so thin and small hardly any lettuce tomatoes onions. Would of been good if it had more chicken and salad stuff

I had the Burrito Loco. It was great. The staff was very professional and courteous. I travel to Bartlesville to deliver for my company. Frida's will always be my choice.

I had lunch here for the first time today. The queso fundido was really good. The fajita burritos and Oky Pollo were great, too. Very friendly and efficient staff. An overall great place for lunch.

We had a group of 8 and everyone raved about how authentic the food tasted … delicious!! The service was also great! There were also LOTS of great vegetarian options!
