La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant

Yesterday was my birthday so me and my family went out for dinner at La Fiesta, but as the meal continued I knew something was off. All of the proceeding night I was heaving up food every few hours, chills while sweating profusely, slightly confused, uncomfortable. I couldn't even drink water. I feel better the next day, but it's quite apparent the culprit here as I had not eaten anything else that day, and didn't drink enough alcohol there to get the usual nausea from that. This was different and I'm pretty sure it was Food Poisoning. I would refrain from ordering anything Shrimp related as that's the only dishes I had, aside from the usual beans, rice, guacamole and lettuce sides.

Nice and clean. Very pretty atmosphere. Waitress was even authentic. Food was ok. A little bland and could have been warmer. More queso on the Kennedy Special more queso and no red sauce would have been more tasty. Price was fair. This was a first visit. Possibly would return for second but probably for lunch. Didn't get the waitress name but definitely an asset to the restaurant. 10/7/24.

Parking: Spacious parking. Lots of room. Maybe a little closer for handicap.

Kid-friendliness: Options on a kid menu section of the menu.

Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room to alot for them.

I ordered a Quesadilla and it was saggy with grease It was so greasy I tried to soak it up with a napkin. And still it was soggy. The Chili riano was floating in red source. I had to pour it out in a bowl.. It's a monday it must be a off day for the cook.The worst mexican food I have eaten here in bartlesville...

I have been a regular at La Fiesta for several years now. Tonight I was more than disappointed. Our server was just hateful. She brings us our drinks.. We had no silverware and the straws are usually wrapped with the silverware. We had a child with us and in order for him to drink his drink we needed a straw for at least him. When I asked the waitress for straws, silverware and napkins she said " I only have 2 hands and I have a big party". Then she got us the straws brought them to us and gave everyone a straw except the CHILD that needed it. So I walked over to where I saw her get the straws and got him one. She was very rude and short with us. She comes takes our orders and takes all orders and as I go to place mine (the last order being taken at our table) she interrupts me and speaks to my husband who had already placed his order asking him if he wanted all the stuff with his (if he wanted anything changed he would have said so when he ordered as everyone else at the table had done prior to him ordering). My drink sat empty while she refilled other peoples drinks at our table (6 of us in total) finally after giving 1 person 2 refills she finally refilled my drink and was snotty about it. The manager walked by and I spoke with her about the service we were receiving her excuse "she is new" (if she was so new why was she given several tables including a large party) No one deserves to be treated the way we were being treated all because I asked for items we should have been given when we were seated. She stood at the register putting in our orders and kept pointing at our table and saying something to another girl that worked there and they were both laughing. She brought out 2 plates and went back for another order for our table and when she did she was stopped by the manager and the manager said something to her and the waitress was still snotty but a little nicer. I have been to La Fiesta many many times as the staffs children run around, staff all sit at a table talking, food brought to the table wrong (just send it back to be corrected mistakes happen) but tonight was the last straw you do not treat me like I was treated tonight. I go on average (usually more often) 1 time a month. I have decided no matter how much I like a specific item they serve and love their guacamole I will not be going back. I am sure they do not care but when I spend anywhere from $50 to $200 there when I go and that is not counting my tip I am sure any other business in town will appreciate my loyalty and money.

The staff was amazing ! The food was okay ! portions were not too big . However , it was hot ? and muggy . I think the air conditioner is not working well.

Easily the best Mexican restaurant in Bartlesville. Service is always efficient and never lacking, food always comes out hot and tastes great. This establishment is always up to standard.

Top-Notch! If selecting a Mexican Restaurant in the area, I highly recommend. We ordered this as takeout on our stay in Ocheleta and they did not disappoint. Had a beef and chicken burrito, the shrimp appetizer, and a triple chocolate cake and they were all DELICIOUS. My kids loved their mac and cheese. My wife enjoyed her quesadilla. Nicely done. They have a very expansive kids menu too if you have little ones.

Food was great but as for drinks not so much. They don’t have any real bar tenders on staff. I mean they didn’t even know how to make an old fashion, or any other drink I tried to order other than a margarita which they don’t even make they just poor it.

The Nacho Supreme was terrible. It didn't have any cheese on it. I had to buy an extra cheese caso to add to my nachoes and the meat tasted like too much of one spice. The pitcher of margaritas we ordered was nothing but mix. Won't buy either again. Service was good and we enjoyed sitting outside.

I ordered delivery because I do not have a vehicle. I ordered a grilled burrito with no hot salsa, it came full of hot salsa. when I called they didn't offer anything but for me to take it back to them, how am I supposed to take it back to them when I don't have a vehicle? They wouldn't even give me a refund. I will not be going back. My mouth is burning and Im Sick to my stomach.
