Went in got to sit down right away. Waited 5 minutes to order my drinks then had to wait 15 minutes to order food. When the food came out had a long hair wrapped around my catfish the waiter asked me if I still wanted it told no went up to pay for my drink they wanted me to pay for the catfish told them I didn't eat any of it and I wasn't going to pay for it

I’ve been visiting this location every couple of months on Fridays for years. Tonight was a disappointment. Once my order was taken and the food dropped off at my table, I never saw a server again at my table. 5 servers were standing behind the counter and never once came by for a refill, instead I had to go to the counter and ask for one.

Now I know where to never order a Reuben from, thank you. Three narrow thin slices of meat that don’t touch the edge of the thin rye bread. Plenty of sauerkraut & sauce. Just not something that’s filling for $9 Great chicken fried steak sandwich & fried mushrooms. Always a great atmosphere & friendly staff.

Sit where you’d like, listen to 50s music, and enjoy some coffee. Boomerang diner is nothing fancy, but it’s not a bad spot to stop in for a quick bite to eat. Staff were friendly, tables sticky, and food was decent. Pancakes were pretty good though! Prices are nice and would stop by for a quick bite again in the future.

The table was sticky and the floor looked dirty and dishes and cups didn't seem clean.Waitress was a large dark skinned woman. After she brought our food which was very small portions she never came back to our table to refill our coffee cups or check on us. The young dark skinned male waiter seemed to be keeping his customers happy and he eventually stopped by to offer us coffee. Our waitress seemed to be just standing around. The food was not tasty and very small portions. Bad service and low quality food. Price high for amount and quality.

Honestly don’t know how you stay in business. I know you’re just a hole in the wall, greasy spoon diner. But damn. The portions were horrible, couldn’t eat the burnt on top/cold on bottom hashbrowns. Scrambled eggs were overcooked rubber. But at least I know now to never go back.
