We became regular customers there several years ago after having eaten at a number of other Mexican restaurants in OKC. The exceptional food & friendly service have kept us going back. The quality of the food is consistent & they have the best Borracho beans I have eaten anywhere. .They are very welcoming & the dining room is always spotless.

Gallegos Mexican Restaurant was one of the most surprisingly great meals I have had in a long time. The restaurant was not very busy and the menu felt a little Tex-Mex (i.e. less authentic) at first, but once we requested the spicy salsa and tasted it, we knew it was game on. That salsa was incredible, easily a top three salsa I have ever had, perfectly spicy and full of flavor. We had the ground beef chile rellenos and steak guisada. We have eaten here 3 times, Beef Enchilada Dinner, Chicken Chile Relleno Dinner, and Chicken Fajita Nachos all excellent and the largest, best margarita ever. May try to eat our way through the menu. Can't wait to go back!!
