Sue is the best, kind hearted human that happens to own and run her Daylight Donut shop. I was one of her customers when she opened shop over 20 years ago. Regular customer as a student in my town, I grew up and took my kids there on our way to town or school. Life happens and move away, several years later, I walked in today and it was like we just left off. She said “you have been gone long time”. Great soul !! Of course, donuts and the sausage rolls are the best too !

I absolutely LOVE this place - the owners are so friendly and always give freebies. The doughnuts are always made fresh - and on some Saturdays a couple of local musicians come out and play. It's very very cool!
Incredible owner who is very kind and very welcoming. I didn't realize it was cash only, so I confirmed this and offered to come back, but she offered to help me anyways. Thank you to the lady with the kids who helped me out. It made my day. 5/5 best donut shop around
