Waited for 30 minutes before seated then had to wait an hour and 15 min to be served..... the fish batter was waaaay to salty. Everything else was decent.

My food sat in the window for a good 5 minutes and then it was taken out of the window. We waited another 15 minutes and then the food came out ice cold. When asked how everything was, I told our waitress the food was cold and she offered to warm it up in the microwave. Gross its chickens tenders. She did offer me a box. I drove 45 minutes to eat here.

We were the first diners to arrive for lunch and there were no other cars, so our expectations were not high. HOWEVER, that changed as soon as we walked through the door.
First, having a meal at Dakota's Restaurant is like sharing a meal with your grandma - excellent food and beautiful souls serving you. The ladies (and I saw a gentleman in the kitchen) are all sweet, hustling, kind, and attentive to your every need.
I had the Mushroom Swiss Burger, 100% Angus Beef, and when I saw "chips" as the side I was anticipating a bag of chips - but these were homemade and DELICIOUS! I had their sweet tea, which I could have drunk a gallon.
I had a bit of my sister's Chicken Fried Steak sandwich (she got it sans bun) and it was HUGE and so tasty! Her baked potato was loaded and baked to perfection.
The ladies serving were plentiful and touched base to make sure we had everything we needed. They said that they appreciated our visit and hoped that they would see us again. I have to mention that our bill was beyond a great deal!
I left feeling wonderfully full - my tummy and my soul.
What a completely delightful experience and I will be back soon. Oh, and the entire parking lot and the dining room were full to bursting by the time we left. I guess the word's out!

We ate here a couple of days ago, and both of us were impressed with the food and service. I particularly enjoyed my lite order of beans and cornbread, along with a senior menu of catfish and okra. I also had apple cobbler and ice cream for dessert. The young waitress was very sweet and efficient. We definitely are planning to come here quite often from now on.

Not once was we asked if we needed something and we did ,drink refills. My fries was cold, my okra was cold a d my shrimp was warm. Service was terrible, absolutely terrible!!!!

First ate at this place yesterday and again today, lovely little country dining experience, food amazing and staff is friendly and prices are very reasonable. If one is ever in blanchard it's a great place to stop and eat

Chicken fried steak was cold when it came out, then second time, you can taste it was microwaved. Photo shows the original and then the microwave version. Then they had the nerve to charge us for it. If it was good, I wouldn't have a problem paying for it. Won't be back.

I visited Blanchard on a Friday night and wasn't sure where to stop. Followed the high google rating and stopped for dinner. The parking lot was full, and every seat was full, and we had a very short wait. Service was quick and didn't have to wait long. Excellent iced tea served in mason jars and very attentive waitress. I had the ribeye, and my friend ordered a club sandwich. The ribeye was beyond Excellent, green beans and mashed potatoes were both very good. Lots of desert options with pies, cakes, and cobbler. I went with the blackberry cobler with ice cream and was very good and enough to share. I will definitely return.

My wife went here with some acquaintances and insisted that we go together. The food here is great. I have enjoyed the Dakota Burger and the hamburger steak. My wife has had the ribeye. We both found the food to be well seasoned and fresh. The service is excellent. Definitely worth the 40 minute drive we take to get here.
