Yesterday was the first time I've been there. For my first meal it was great & judging by how full it was other folks must think it is the place to eat. I left there grinning and looking for a place to take a nap. The service was also great....

This is a restaurant that is unusual in the fact that it's not connected with any group, any more than one. It is a stand-alone restaurant in Blanchard Oklahoma. It's not far from my house and in the last 7 years. I have eaten there hundreds of times. The food is without a doubt some of the best food you will eat anywhere. They do specials on certain nights. The menu has many selections, and I've eaten about everything on the menu multiple times. I've eaten there so much that I can instantly and even visually tell you when the owner has changed something. They have a few hiccups now and then largely do to being slammed. You usually have a wait, but it goes very fast. I've only had to wait approximately 15 minutes at the longest time to get seated. Food usually comes pretty fast and usually very tasty. It has been a favorite of mine for a long time. I have friends that drive there from all over the state to eat with Dakotas. The BBQ is off the chart, the Friday all you can it Catfish night is wonderful. Have them cook it fresh for you. Burgers are very good, fried foods usually are. He uses Certified Angus for his Beef and if you want a steak. You won't beat his steaks, not even at Cattlemans, for flavor and price. You will want to come back. The serving staff is excellent. The all help each other when it comes to getting you food out hot. You'll love this place. If you are in a hurry call ahead and order Togo. They do a land office Togo business. Drive thru is always open.

Have been going here for about 5 years now. Have not had anything I didn't like. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Sirloin steak was not listed as a choice for recommended dishes, but I definitely recommended it. As well as the chicken strip dinner. As I said, I haven't had anything that was not to my liking. It's always busy, so parking can be a bit challenging.
