Love this place. Had Dee's onion burger and fresh cut fries. Reminded me of when I was younger eating the same burger made by Dee in the metal building so many years ago. Glad you stayed true to your roots.

I'm not much into writing reviews but felt like this one was needed.
I really wanted to like this place since it is close to my house and I try to support local businesses but my experience..... lets just say I've had better experience, service, and food from a 1 star hotel.
Service, non existent. Was never greeted or asked about anything. I didn't realize you had to order at the cash register so we waited at the counter for 15 mins never greeted by anyone then just sat at a table for another 20mins before someone told us you had to order at the counter. Wait time for the food was ridiculous. I get place was busy and it takes time but it shouldn't take over a hour for some pancakes and eggs. By the time food had arrived my son and I was already over being there so we ask for to go boxes so we could just go home and eat. We got home and started eating and found pancakes terrible. My son isn't a picky eater, specially when it comes to chocolate chip pancakes but he took one bite and did not want any more. Bacon and eggs were terrible. Chewy and no favor. The sausage was okay in my opinion. McDonald's bacon and eggs were better compared to this if you ask for my opinion.
I hope this place changes and havent tried their lunch yet but after this I done have hopes for it.

Nice clean Diner Decided to try them out as we were visiting Blanchard instead of going to Boomerang. Ordered the $17 chicken Fry x2 $3 tea. presentation was nice couldn't wait to dig my teeth into the Huge chicken Fry only to want to spit it out No taste under cooked meat crunchy breading which tasted like pure flour Should have tried the burger. I really hope this Diner makes it but maybe the cook should go eat a chicken Fry from somewhere else. Feel like I wasted my $41 for 2

First time at defaults. I was very pleased. Just a down home little joint, food was very good and service was great. Very friendly staff and everything is made from scratch which is nice. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs and it was very good (I only added a bit of salt but that's my preference.) My wife got dees onion burger and that was exceptional, and my son got strawberry french toast. A big plus is they can actually cook the eggs properly haha. Over all good stuff, will be back.

Steak was good, sides on the other hand; I Hope you like Black Pepper!!! Whoo! Coarse ground and heavy in All 3 of the sides I tried; Mashed potatoes/gravy, green beans, corn all inedible because of the amount of pepper in every one of them, along with the corn had spent possibly all week on steam table and had started getting dry and hard. Others meals were good, fries were great, club sandwich good. Burger was good other than last 1/4 of it was still raw(which was weird as the center was done). Service was adequate, the staff was very nice. We will try it out one more time before we write it off the list, and hope for a better experience with the food quality; we love local businesses and prefer them over chains, but quality definitely needs to be there.

Their kids menu doesn’t have any breakfast dishes other than a chocolate chip pancake. My daughter wanted scrambled egg and sausage so I had to order the full plate for $9.99. She said it comes with two sides. I tried choosing French fries and she said no, they have to be breakfast sides. The sausage was very dry, home fries looked greasy and over cooked. My burger was good, my husband enjoyed the biscuit debris although it wasn’t served hot, it was barely warm, and my son wouldn’t eat the chicken tender, I tried it and it was very dry. Their biscuits were kinda dense/stale. Friendly staff, high chairs need a better place to be stored. I tripped over them and I watched a kid trip over them too. $54 was a bit steep for the quality of the food, and the wait was over half an hour so not sure we will be regulars.

The Meat Lovers Omelette here is hands down the best I’ve ever had loaded with flavor and perfectly cooked every time. Pair it with one of their iced coffees, and you’re in for a treat. The coffee is smooth, bold, and absolutely out of this world. Great food, great drinks, and an even better atmosphere. Highly recommend!
