I was there this year just a walk though . got married there ten years a go.man have things changeit was a nice 3 1/2 star there were no people there no one on the beach no one at the bar no bartender at the bars. no one in the dining room. one man in the lobby room with his suitcase waiting to leave. to bad was a nice place to go

This resort is not flashy, or new, or big enough to get lost on the property. But what it does have is a very comforting, homey feel that will keep us coming back. And everyone else we talked to the week we were there felt the same way. This property needs repairs and updating. But the food is really good, the place is clean, and the beach is lovely. More importantly the staff are it’s crown jewel. They are warm and wonderful and generous and just the most lovely people you will ever find. We stayed in Club room 7, it’s above the disco, but we didn’t mind the music and the a/c mostly drowned it out anyway. This room faced the ocean and the courtyard where activities and the main bar is. The room was large and bed was very comfortable. Hot water did seem to run out occasionally but wait an hour and it would be back. No issues with water pressure. Thanks to Delroy, Santi, Nicky, Stacy, Shawn, Chef Stephan and many many more who were all equally instrumental in helping us have the best vacation ever! Thanks for teaching us how to play Ludi! We have stayed here before and had a good idea of what to expect. It gave me concern reading some of the latest reviews but since we always has a good experience we went ahead with our plans. Glad we did. The place needs work for sure..my biggest concern was no covers over sockets, which I'm pretty sure is a safety violation. And tv is minimal. And they ran out of vodka (and had no bourbon, but they never did) And there was trouble with the hot water. All that being said we had a great time. The staff is phenomenal. We cannot say enough great things about them. Any issues like no hot water we let them know and they took care of it right away (except no bourbon and the open sockets) Food wasn't buffets like we had before but it was a la carte, it was yummy and it was plentiful. We have been to other resorts in other countries as well as cruises and tv service has always been minimal. Why do you want to watch TV in Jamaica?! The resort is clean and they staff works hard to keep it that way. My husband turned 70 while we were here and every member of staff wished him well...check out how they fixed the bed! Also decorated our table at dinner For the first 3 days we were the only people here. They offered us a room at a sister property which we declined. Club A is a special place and it has seen better days and definitely needs better bar selection but it's still our choice. Please dont let some of these reviews scare you away from staying here....its perfect for people who have no interest in poolside games, or endless nightlife. It's a perfect place to just relax! We will continue to come here when we come to Jamaica

I had a long weekend off and contacted my travel agent asking for a quick get away. He stated that he had sent a few couples to Club Ambiance in Jamaica and they thought it was an okay place for a quick getaway. Even though I had been to JA in January 2019, I took his word for it and booked the trip! This budget hotel was a dated Adults Only resort on the main street in Runaway Bay. The food was ok, but limited when it came to replenishment. The rooms were dated and there was a problem with hot water almost daily. Again, I do not let things ruin my vacation, but this clearly was not what I was looking for. Club Ambiance is on its' own private beach. There was nothing surperior about the room I was in. As I started asking questions about the resort and how long it had been around, I was told there was some type of association with Mangos in Falmouth, as they would send any 'extra guests' from one resort to the other if they over booked. It just so happened that I had stayed at Mangos just a few months earlier. That's when everything made sense to me. They are both similar hotels. I ended up paying a driver to take me on short daily tours, which were a lot of fun. If you are looking for a cheap get away and don't care about where you end up, then this may be the place for you. I on the other hand am no longer interested in going to a mediocur hotel in Jamaica. I must say that the staff did try to make their guests happy. They did the best they could with the tools they were provided.

So originally we wanted to return to a very nice property we always visited however they were closed and recommended this broken down place. The male receptionist who checked us in was very nice. The room was old and disappointing but we decided to work with it. There was no hot water in the room I call the desk and the lady said I should come to the front so I can showers somewhere else I was very upset I went to her so I asked “every time I need to shower I’ll have to call you” she said I would be keeping the key. Still didn’t sit well with me so I asked if there wasn’t any other available room she said yes and we were put in the worst room on the property. The linens that are suppose to be white where black the bathroom needed to be cleaned and the shower still didn’t work and it was a pool in the tub when the shower was on. They didn’t even have bottled water we had to drive 15 mins at 3am to buy water. The food was also crappy. Apart from the lady that worked the night shift, the only good thing was the staff very friendly and polite. I would never recommend this property. Please refurbish before you take peoples hard earned gas!

This was my second visit but unfortunately it will be my last. I stayed one night and felt as if i just threw away my money in the garbage. I booked a superior room that was advertised as overlooking the pool with sea view. I was instead given a room that overlooked the entertainment area. There was no hot water and we had to use a bucket to flush the toilet. Even tho they promised to address the matter they never did. The bathroom was dark and dingy. The air conditioning hardly worked. There were only six channels on the tv which was out of focus so we could hardly watch it. By the next morning only one local channel was working. The furniture was old and dirty especially at the base. There was no entertainment and the food choices was limited. I checked out earlier than expected. I suggest that they close that place and carry out major renovations before stealing other people's money.

When we got to the hotel they were having a hard time finding my reservation after the fact that they had send a confirmation a few days before to my email. Enough of that food very limited..breakfast..lunch..dinner started late every day..bar had limited drink available..the hotel itself need renovation. I will not be going back

This place has very friendly, professional service and is absolutely my favorite dispensary in this area. His prices are very reasonable and the quality of his flower, and cartridges are absolutely amazing. His shop is really nice with pool tables and he even has a mascot. I've been to every dispensary around here and anyone who knows me knows that I know what I'm talking about when I say that All of the different kinds he has have a better quality than the same kind at other dispensaries. This place was a last minute booking for us after another place didn't meet our needs. It was a great choice. Because it was summer there were very few guests so there was lots of privacy and space. We had a king bed room with a view over the pool and ocean. Very comfortable. The food selection was somewhat limited due to the small number (around 20) guests but everything was very tasty. The bar was never busy and made us a variety of drinks. The staff were very friendly and helpful in all positions. The pool lifeguard was even fetching more drinks for us while we were in the pool. If you are looking for a 5 star all inclusive hotel this is not the place, but it is a small friendly 3 star. The building is older and a little tired, worn at the edges. When we arrived the pool was closed but when we asked about it they worked hard to clean and reopen it. The are not really any activities at the resort but some of that might have been due to the small guest numbers. Hot water didn't always work well in the shower, a little tepid. Parking was great if you are driving. We enjoyed a great relaxing stay at Club Ambiance.
