Love their Friday Ribey Steak Special. The steaks are so thick, well seasoned and tender!!!! Smoked on the grill to order ❤ me I'm a medium rare kinda gal ? My husband and I have gone for years...the owners are very kind and make you feel like family!?
I was very excited to have an alternate choice to Boomerang (which I like) in Bristow. after three visits, however, one menu item is good and two disappoint. Good: great diner atmosphere, friendly folks and great service. Grilled chicken salad is excellent and HUGE! So so: The chicken fried steak is ok, maybe a little overdone, nothing special. Boomerang in Bristow has a beautiful, golden brown chicken fry, if a little heavy on the breading. The catfish was a major disappointment...
I had been here a few years ago and enjoyed the Catfish buffet very much. Recently, I was in Bristow during lunch. Missed the daily lunch buffet so I had the grilled chicken salad. I expected a “so-so” grilled chicken salad and was pleasantly surprised with perhaps the finest grilled chicken salad I have ever eaten. I took a picture since it was a visual shock that is was a small work of art as they served it. It was so well done. It tasted even better than it looked since...
