We love the food here, especially for a group, we can eat from the $1 menu, order some queso and have a feast. It's a little tight in some areas as far as seating, but we go to the back and have a great time and get great service. Now that they've painted and fixed it up more, the vibe is perfect for our family/group outings. Definitely worth a try.
The food was pretty good IMO and price was reasonable but the waiter never came back to refill drinks or ask if we needed anything. The overall restaurant was very dirty, the walls and floor looked horrible and when we went to pay they didn't even know what we had ordered to charge us, we had to get a menu and look for the items.
Stopped in here to check it out because I'm from out of town and discovered the best Mexican food I've had in years! I will definitely be coming back anytime I'm in town. The photograhs and brightly colored walls create a wonderful ambience as well.
