I arrive at 50s diner and waited in line for several minutes before it was my turn to order. I later get to the window and place my order in the drive through. I ordered one meal. Avocado toast with an over medium egg. $14.08. The employee who took my order was Biancy who was initially friendly.
After I place my order I’m told to pull out of line and park my car. Totally understandable as there were cars behind me. After waiting for almost 20 minutes on toast and an egg I called the restaurant and asked to cancel my order. I wasn’t able to go inside as I had a car full of small children. Instead of cancelling my order they say “hold on” and *click* hang up on me then come running outside with my food. I open the box to find eggs that are so undercooked that the wires of the egg were still gooey. And Avocado that was watery with freezing cold chunks as if it had been frozen and not fully thawed out before serving it to me.
I circled back into the drive through and Biancy opened the window. I showed my box of eggs and said the whites are still runny. Can I please just give you the food and get my money back. She shuts the window shut and walks back into the kitchen without acknowledging me. Then the manager, Teresa (in blue and white striped blouse) comes storming to the window and you can see all over her face that she is angry and she says “what’s the problem?!” I said “my eggs are so undercooked that the white is runny” before I could even say anything about the avocado she starts insisting I pull forward and wait for them to remake the eggs. I told her the avocado is freezing cold and she began to LAUGH in my face saying “it’s a fruit what do you expect?!” “Hahahaha you want hot avocado?!” “you do know avocado is produce, correct???” She was SO nasty towards me. Treating me like I was some kind of an idiot. I said “ma’am. C’mon. Don’t be so condescending. I clearly don’t expect avocado to be hot this is till partially frozen though”
Then who I believe may be the owner immediately comes flying up to the window yelling and screaming at me “what do you want?! I told you we’ll remake your eggs. That’s what over medium eggs are supposed to look like but if you are unhappy I will make them again” I tried to tell her that I had already waited 17 minutes on my food and that I didn’t have time to wait for a remake. but she kept yelling and saying “you want hot avocado?! Do you know how ridiculous you sound” “you’re impossible to please” She wouldn’t let me explain anything, just stood there and railroaded me for several minutes until I finally pulled a video camera out. Even her body language was just aggressive. She didn’t back down until I started recording her. To which she then finally agreed to just give me my money back which I had politely asked for 5 minutes before they chewed my ass out for being “unable to please.”
I’ve never never never been treated this way at any establishment before. EVER.
I was served HORRIBLE inedible food and when I simply asked for my money back with all of the food still in hand, they ripped me a new one. Then as you can see in the video when the owner finally agreed to refund me then the manager Teresa and employee Biancy just stood there laughing sarcastically. This experience was extremely upsetting.

This is one of our favorite places to go for breakfast or brunch. The food is consistently great and the service is always perfect. Delicious breakfasts and hamburger steak dinner.

I have not been to a restaurant in a long time where every employee is so eager to serve and please their customers. The food is fantastic, the prices are unbelievable for the wonderful experience and amount of delicious food. Every time I am in Broken Arrow, I visit 50s Diner at least for breakfast and once for dinner. The place is always filled with happy, fun people. All are enjoying the food, the exceptional staff, and the great prices. What's not to love. If you want to know how to operate a successful business, visit 50s Diner. They do it right.

For a diner it's pretty good, you can tell the cooks put some effort into their work and the waitresses are friendly and good at what they do!

1st time here at this diner. What a great little diner in the heart of Broken Arrow, Tulsa.
Jose was my server and he had a shadowing server for the day.
He was able to offer a root beer float as they didnt serve a chocolate malt.

Unfortunatly the juke box didnt work either.
The food was exceptional, hot and fresh. Jose attended to my every need.

The decor was fantastic, every photo and slogan from the 50s i look forward to coming back again.

Blueberry pancakes with blueberries inside and out is my favorite. Service and atmosphere is great. The booth seat cushions need to be updated and replaced.
