Can't really tell you much about this place. We tried to eat here for breakfast, got seated pretty quickly then ignored, we ended up leaving. They weren't very busy.

The food was good. The prices seemed to be reasonable although I previously read a review that stated they charge a convenience fee I forgot to look so if they did it couldn't have been much because the bill wasn't outrageous. The biggest issue that our group experienced was the service..... the staff was friendly enough however; I called a month in advance & then again 2 weeks prior to our visit to verify that the restaurant could accommodate our large group of about 60-80 people. I was informed that they could in deed accommodate us. We only had 2 servers for 40 people (1 room) & 2 more servers for the remaining 25 (separate room). Several of our party received their food extremely cold due to long wait times. Had our party not been so large our experience would have been beautiful. Thank you Apple Barrel Cafe' for having us

I called ahead with an interesting order where I asked this restaurant to start an order for dine-in before I arrived with my elderly mother, who I was taking out for lunch ahead of a move into long-term care. The goal was to make it so my mom didn’t have to place an order and then wait a long time for it to arrive as with traditional dine in.The restaurant happily accommodated our request and the service was absolutely excellent when we arrived. Our server was fantastic and attentive, and the manager was very kind to us. The food was obviously awesome! This is the type of hometown service I love, and whenever I am in Broken Arrow I will always come by Apple Barrel for my favorite meal. Thanks again!

Mom and pop breakfast place! Always hits the spot early in the morning! I love getting chicken and waffles. There biscuits and their cinnamon rolls are delicious!

It's been awhile since visiting. The restaurant seems much cleaner and brighter. The food was terrific, as was the service!

Dashers beware. Expect a long wait time, most of the time, at this establishment.Orders are rarely fulfilled on time, nor do they seem to care about fixxing the problem.

Apple Barrel in Broken Arrow is a great restaurant. Good food cooked to perfection. We’ve been going there since they opened. Before they opened it was a good Chinese buffet but Apple Barrel made it even better. It’s a convenient spot for us as they are literally across the street from our home. There are plenty of restaurants around us but we choose them over the others. They have a good variety on their menu so they will have something for everyone if you have picky eaters like my family. The staff is always friendly and if you do have a problem they will take care of it! They are the comfort food and exotic food restaurant that you will enjoy. That is very hard to do. Great desserts as well. When I left the Army I worked at Black Eyed Pea restaurant as a line cook so I’m really critical of restaurants but Apple Barrel matches them . So if you’re looking for a great dining experience or take out give them a try and I’ll guarantee you will be happy.

Don’t go for breakfast! We spent $54 on 3 people. The what we thought was the bacon and egg plate was just eggs, potatoes, and toast. We had to pay $3.49 extra for bacon so the price went from $6.99 plus $3.49 for bacon and then a substitute Belgian waffle for $4. 2 large orange juices at $4 a piece, and a coffee for $3. No thank you Jakes will always have my business where I don’t get charged extra for 3 pieces of lousy bacon and I can substitute my bread for a waffle no charge and the orange juice is $2 for a large. The prices here are ridiculous! The owner must be making up for losing the business that is now the steakhouse. Eaters beware of your bill! Plus they charge a convenience fee if you don’t pay cash!

It's ok for breakfast. We have gone many times, and the service has kind of fallen off. The food is a little bland and uninspired.
